As I don't want to scroll thru all my 300 contacts when searching for one, does anybody know how to set a specific "filter by category" as default?
It's quite annoying that if a filter is once set, the setting will be gone when opening "contacts" again.
Some way to keep it?
Can anybody give me a hint?
Use a mort script or hack it.

Hi, I'm using Pocket Outlook to send SMS and MMS (MMSLite). The read/compose font is very small and I was wondering if there's a way to change the font size. Increasing the WM5 system font works but it also affects the characters in my Today screen. Thanks.
Is there really no way to change Pocket Outlook font size? They're way too small.
check out this prog, it is mainly to change the threaded sms in 6.1 to the old sms display, but in the options there is something about the font size, am not sure which rom you are running but give a try ( backup your contacts and sms in case of anything goes wrong)

Mad1980, thank you very much. SMS Tweaker v1.0 is for WM6.1, I'm using 5.0 but I installed it anyway. I actually don't understand the difference between Normal mode and Threaded mode because even if I switch modes Outlook view remains the same. Even if I increase the font size it also doesn't change, probably because I'm using WM5.
I don't mind if those features don't work because after I installed the software the font changed to Tahoma and I like it a lot better than the default Outlook font. I don't know what it's called but it's really ugly. Tahoma has better character spacing and the regular characters are bigger than the previous one.
I'm really happy. Thanks again but I have one more problem. I'm using MMSLite to send and receive MMS on Outlook, it's still using the default Outlook font. How do I change it to Tahoma just like my SMS font?
Hahaha, I'm so happy. I finally found the answer here.

Hello,
Is it possible to adjust the default way of saving/viewing contacts? Now new contacts are default saved as 2nd name before first name.
I know you can change the contact so it shows the first name first the 2nd name, but I just had to change over 100 contact manually again after a restore...
Any reg key to adjust so it saves contacts with the first name first by default?
Thanks
Hello, I've been looking for an answer to this for an hour but haven't had any luck. What I'm trying to do is set up an two ImageButtons, one for placing a call and one for sending a text. I've figured out how to do this with the intents, but what I can't figure out for the life of me is how to get the default application icon to put as the image in the imagebutton. For example the icon for the default messaging application, whether it's the built-in messaging app, or Handcent, or Go sms. I could just use a standard icon, but I'd rather have it match the default app. Any ideas? Thanks!
Got the Lollipop upgrade and running stock ROM. Before the update, favorite contacts were displayed in list form. Now it's a grid. I used to be able to left-swipe to send a text or right-swipe to call - standard contact behavior for the normal list. This still works for the "frequently contacted" below. But I cannot swipe a favorite in grid form and there is no way to change the view setting.
If this is a Samsung change, which I think it is, what a dumb move. Any suggestions short of installing a different contacts app?
