[Q] Separate profile / settings? - Android Software Development

Are separate profiles possible in Android? As our tablet is a shared device, I would like to have separate profiles for different family members, just like our home computer.
Does anyone know if this is possible? I have searched the forums/web, and I have not found the answer.
Thanks!

Can anyone provide any insight to this issue?

Set phone to automatic profile programatically

Hi,
Does anyone know how to set the phone sound profile to automatic, through native or manged code, or whatever?
I know this is vendor specific, but I am assuming that HTC devices have a standard dll that exposes this functionality (pls let me know otherwise)
Thanks

[Q] Binding multiple AppDataSettings to GridView

Hi all
On my Windows 8.1 Application, i have a default ItemsPage. I have also 5 different settings which i receive from my AppDataStore, which contains List<string>. Now i want to bind them to my DefaultViewModel["Items"]. Every item should contain one of these 5 settings from each List<string>. How can i do this?
Can you provide a simple diagram / chart / pseudocode of what you're trying to achieve? I can't fully grasp what you're attempting.
Problem is solved, i had to make this with a class. Thank you.

[Q] Sending data over wifi

I want to use the screen of android phone/tablet as a remote input device.
I want to get the position of the finger(s) and send that using udp socket to a pc/laptop.
Later I'd also like to add more input possibilities and add the option to send data (text/images) to the phone and displaying that.
I've already created a simple server that receives messages in C++ but my knowledge about java/android development revolves around the hello world program, so I'd need a lot of tips and pointers for this one.
Anyone knows about a good(detailed) tutorial about this?
Perhaps try reposting this in C++ forum? I don't know much about it and I'm sure other may be the same way, especially since we're in the Java section. Although i really like this idea!

Yotaphone 2 EPD best settings for main Android screen/apps

Hello forum,
Does anyone know where to configure the EPD screen behaviour when navigating thru main Android menu screen? Does it use master.cfg file or anything else?
Also under sdk docs in yotaphone URL: https://yotaphone.com/pl-pl/developer/docs/develop/simplified-sdk/ they mention some update modes that can be used but are those modes configurable under cfg files in epd_optimizer directory?
If anyone has any recommendations for specific settings per app that want to share, they are more than welcome.
Thanks
We discuss it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/yotaphone-one/general/epdoptimizer-recommendations-thread-t3586328
