MT4G Stock video player .apk on cm7? - myTouch 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I am presently running cm7 and not really impressed with its capabilities with respect to video player formats. Qq player works but audio lags sometimes.
I know the stock video player covered a wide range of formats. Can we get that installed on cm7?

Video player on mytouch kinda stinks

Just got the mytouch 4g. I attempted to play avi and divx files that played fine on the Vibrant. They wouldn't play at all. Any apps from the market that will play a wider selection of files?
Rockplayer

Both of those programs are kinda meh.
I really wish the stock media player could be as robust as the one on the Galaxy S phones. At the very least, I wish a vendor would create a nice movie player app on the market.
wish they did that too but they ok for me even when i had my vibrant i didnt really watch movies that much unless i was flying out ......but they do the job for me for now

arcmedia. you find it in the market. i use it all the time works great
for me yxplayer is the best so far
what about divx , xvid or mkv player? previously on 2.1 eclair I was very much used to Rock player ver 1.1.4.7 but now on Froyo ..none even the latest versions are not able to play mkv or divx formats..any solutions guys?
how about any player that does mp4? I tried QQplayer and Media Player, but they both lag and freeze, and video/audio is out of sync... The stuff i'm trying to watch is 768X432 29 frames/second
I tried rockplayer and yxplayer, but the one I like most is VitalPlayer
VPLAYER is really good...

I have problem too, actually it's two problems:
1. I cant install adobe flash player, kind wildfire is not supported with adobe flash player.
2. which player to use, because I see there is a bunch of apps on market which are like original (for example, adobe flash player - with same color and F on icon, but not from adobe)
Dude i dont know if wildfire ruu (original factory os for wildfire by htc) support flash, coz the very first thing i did since a bought my wildfire is i changed the stock os to custom rom, kernal and radio, and i never installed any app to stock os. So i dont know much about stock os app support.
And about cm7.0.3 it support flash, i played youtube in it. And i have adobe flashplayer 10.1 in it.
The perfect way to search for a media player that support a special codec like flv, avi, swf, mpeg etc. Is to search with the codec name in the search tab of market, and the most popular result will be shown first.

Video Player Suggestion

I was having issues with the screen being too dark when watching videos. I just purchased MX Player Pro and it makes quite a difference :good: You can go into settings and use a custom brightness setting along with hardware decoding. A bonus is both the audio and video quality improved immensely over the stock player.
I like the stock LG video player, cause I never had any issue playing videos with it. But MX Player Pro is not bad too..
