keep 3G data connection on

is there anyway to keep the 3G connection on all the time ??
because im using the im+ messenger and its disconnected from time to time ???
i tryed other like nimbuzz same problem
its even happen to gtalk also
its really annoying
sorry guys im WM user (HD2) and this is my first android phone

Does is just completely cut out of go onto a 2g network? (G)
The phone will automatically select the most effective data connection so you can't really help it i'm afraid :/

Go to settings > wireless and network > mobile networks > network mode and change it to wcma only mode.

No Internet!

Ok i can get wifi on it and download stuff. but when i disable wifi and try to just use the internet it wont connect to any thing.. any ideas? thanks

For me when I had this problem I would go to settings.... Network..... Then disabled connect through network.... Then enable it again... I'm not talking about wifi I'm talking about tmobile network.. This always works for me

Try settings, network, and select GSM only. Worked for me on ATT with a Euro HD2.

WTF.. i have tried 5 or 6 different android version on my htc hd2, and the internet doesn't work.. like the guy said about i can download everyrthing on wifi, but thats it.. Am i missing something??? i tried the about but doesn't work..

I have the same issue.
WiFi is working fine, but mobile internet doesn't work.
I tried to set up connection setting, but without success.
P.S. In WM6.5 internet is working good.

I had this same problem few days ago when first installing Android in my HD2. I discover that my problem isn't in Android but rather the mobile internet settings within Android, namely missing APNs.
Boot up Android, go to settings> Wireless... >mobile internet settings> APN.
If there is nothing in there that is the problem. Just google for the carrier's APN and enter it manually. u need to press the 'start' menu button on the phone in order to bring up the option to enter new APN.

mobile internet not working in BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA DESIRE HD_V17

I have flashed BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA DESIRE HD_V17 Rom to my HD2 512 mb rom but the mobile internet is not working. There are no notifications like H for hsdpa or E for edge appear in the status bar. Any help ?

Here's what you do:
OPTION A:
Turn on airplane mode and turn it off and see if mobile network works?
OPTION B:
Turn on wifi and turn off mobile data and then turn off wifi and then after you turned off wifi you can turn on mobile data and it should work.

Thanks for reply. Turning on and off airplane mode didn't help. When turning on mobile networks it stuck to turning on but nothing happens. Is there any setup should be done?. I was able to use data connection in hyberdroid cm7 without any setup.

This appears more to be around APN settings.
Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
Make sure what is selected is your provider. Also, Google for your provider's specific APN settings and ensure they are all the same.
Edit: Also ensure "Data Enabled" is ticked on the Mobile Networks screen.

Problem with wifi

hello,
i have the following problem with wifi on my zopo zp 700: it connects to our home- wifi, but only grey connectifity stripes, not the blue ones i get usually. it says "connected" but internet doesnt work.
when im at work the wifi works fine.
i started the dignostic tool by dialing*#*#4636#*#* and found out that there are 2 configured versions of our home wifi there, one with keymgmt (ID9) and one without (ID10).
it seems that the phone connects to the wifi without kegmt and this causes the problem. when i disable the network with ID10 (the one without keymgmt) it works until i switch off the wifi and on again. then the network with ID10 (and all others that i had disabled before are enabled again)
as there are several other networks that i dont know but seem configured in this list, i wanted to know how i diable or delete these unwanted networks from the list of configured wifis?

Try to factory reset your wifi or gateway

How do you do that? I opende the engineer mode but did only find different testing modes for wifi..

Reset button or something like that on your wifi device. Let use them to reset to factory

This might be a stupid idea, but can you not just go into Wifi settings, pick your home network name, and select 'Forget'?
Make sure you forget all you want it to forget (i dunno if it will list it twice or not)...
Then re-do the settings with correct password...fixed?!?

You should check if you get an ip address from your wifi router.

H910 can't find WiFi access when having no mobile signal or in flightmode

Hey folks, Im having a very weird issue.
I can't find / connect to Wi-Fi spots when I'm having no mobile signal or when I'm in flight mode.
As soon I have mobile data and a carrier the wifi accesses appear.
This is so annoying because at home I'm in a low signal area and sometimes my wifi crashes and then the wifi can't connect again because of the lag of mobile signal.
I attached some. Screens.
I tried to reset the network settings, no success.. But I don't wanna do a factory reset..
Any ideas? Never heard about that kind of issue. No matter which phone.

Ok found a solution. I removed the WLAN - n support by changing the router and now I finally can connect to the wifi without sim card or mobile repection.. Due the N thing my router didn't show in the menu without having signal.
