Optional Settings:
You need to re-enter the SMSC Carrier number. For WIND Mobile Canada, SMSC is 16135009000
Android requires you to enter this info in Hex.
Hex = 07916131059000F0
In the dialpad enter *#*#4636#*#*
Select phone information
Scroll down to SMSC field, enter 07916131059000F0 and done. Then reboot

I've never had to input anything for WIND on my Nexus. APNs were present as soon as the SIM went in, and no text issues.

Why is this necessary?
The SMSC field is blank on my phone and everything is working flawlessly.
Just curious.

it's optional, i forgot to put that in the tittle
some people are unable to send SMS without the code

what apn information

I bought a htc dream and its on telus. Everything works except data. Maybe there's other reasons for data not to work other than apn info maybe not, I just know it doesn't work.
Then I remembered android on the vogue had apn and working data without setting it up. How does the Vogue know how to do this?!

Need help, cricket calling works on my phone but no internet no 3g symbol

Hello, I have a droid x. I installed a zip for wifi tethering but it was meant for verizon not cricket. My phone nai is set to verizon and well there is other spot in the qpst that shows verizon. So I setup for [email protected] on like nai,
tethered nai, home address zeros, primary ha address zeros secondary ha address to zero. At ppp config, um tethered nai [email protected]
cricket as password, an userid [email protected], password cricket.
I write to phone. And then when it reboot at motorola screen the qpst services programming says warnning: Phone no longer detected on port com10
settings in phone service state in service,
mobile network state connecting.
an only spot where i see the cricket number and address without verizon.
People I need help I paid someone to do the flashing now I screwed up and
I don't want to pay 60 bucks for them to flash it. Do I suppose to go and
change some stuff with cdma workshop?
I flashed my phone personally to cricket.. I had a problem with cdma not flashing the prl to the phone.. I had to use qpst to finish the flash.. also which prl are you using?

I'm on Orange EE in the UK. Anyone got any idea how to find them / get them back?

Sucks your having these issues, try thishttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582747. It is for the note 3 but it should work for the S5 too.

Try going into where your APN (i thunk that's what it is I'll Check in a second) it should say something like vzw Internet and holding it and a popup should come up if that doesnt work there should be 3 bars in the top right corner hit that and itll say reset to default and click yes I saw the Samsung rep do it on my gf t-mobile s5
