yea, i know, i mean: can it be developed? coz x10 is similar to x8...
No it's not similar. Stop posting these useless threads! There is no MT/DT and there is no FLASH for the X8. If you want MT you need a kernel that's supports it, but you can't use one because the bootloader isn't cracked.
Xperia x8 will get multi-touch..
this Kernel of Binary is "only" extractet of the chinese x10 firmware. but the chinese (or Japan) don't develop in X8 that's because we have to do it BUT we haven't cracked the bootloader jet where the drivers in. So belive in some hackers with very high knowledge to crack the bootloader

When the Bootloader is cracked, you will be avaliable to load new kernels.
To Enable Multi/Dual touch you have to have a kernel that supports multitouch and then upload the kernel to the phone, but to upload new kernel to phone you will be a really really good programmer or hacker that can hack or customize the SEUS (SonyEricssonUpdateService) so the kernel can be uploaded. Other way is to crack the bootloader which is not even possible on the Big x10 but crackers and hackers are close to crack the bootloader and when the bootloader is cracked they will be able to overclock the X10.

That e-mail doesn't confirm anything. It only says the Xperia line (not the X8 specifically) will get software updates, starting with the one on the first trimester of 2011 that will include multi-touch. Unfortunately, it's more then confirmed that this update only includes multi-touch for the X10.

actually thats exactly what the mail says....that x8 is having multi-touch...though i dont believe anything support center tells, cause i`ve seen may "roadmaps" of products that arent fullfiled like the brand anounces...
Let's just wait and see.. I still believe we will get multi-touch

well i backed up my medal of honor disc and havent been able to get the game working , now ive spent $70 on a game i cant play unless i buy one of those ps jailbreak devices that you can update the payloads on.

I need some help. I have a X8 (When I bought, the ad said it was a X8a), but I did the JIT enable (from this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=946231) and my smarthphone don't charging with it off, always on. I tried repair a X8 with SEUS, but I couldn't it. So, I flashing my smathphone (from this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875688), but I have some doubts:
-I think my X8 is a X8a. In menu "About o cellphone", shows my device named "E15i". There is a problem that? Can I have a X8a natively with firmware E15i, or do I need a firmware E15a?
-How do I find out what my version (E15a or E15i)? Behind my smartphone is written "X8a". Then my X8 only will work with firmware E15a?
PS.: Sorry for the bad english. I'm Brazilian user, and I'm in first year of English course.

Okay, o teu tlm e o E15i, sem duvida.. a nao ser estejas usar outro firmware, mas se usaste o SEUS pra fzr flash e pq e mesmo..
Quanto a parte do tlm so carregar ligado, e normal.. a culpa s dum ficheiro - chargemon.. esse ficheiro foi substituido quando instalaste o JIT.. XD esse bug ja foi corrigido, se quiseres eu posso postar o ficheiro e dizer.te passo-a-passo o q fzr..

In my signature, you have link to my Mediafire folder. Download firmware (E15i Customized RU) and baseband "X8a baseband 015". Flash firmware, then baseband. Your phone should work fine and you should have 3G signal.

Mas, eu não cheguei a atualizar o x8 com o SEUS. Eu nem consegui reparar o aparelho com o SEUS. O que fiz foi usar o FlashTool para colocar uma ROM (Tentei várias, uma da Claro WORLD 1.6, atualizável, mas sem debranding.) chamada x8i Shakira. Quando comprei o aparelho, ele mostrava x8a (eu acho), mas embaixo do aparelho está "e15a". Por isso minha dúvida. Você pode me passar o arquivo changemon? Obrigado!

yes, X8a/i = E15a/i. you CAN flash e15i/x8i firmware, just flash x8a baseband after that and phone will work fine...

No, I got it to work but the translation even by Google is pretty poor, it's possible to get the gist of it but you have to read into it a lot.
Anyway, I wasn't trying to be a prick, just reminding everyone of the forum rules.

Although, I think it won't be necessary at all. As @rslee posted in GingerBread thread for P1000L/N, Samsung Brazil has released a manual version of P1000L for GingerBread. Also, I have seen on Orkut someone stating that Samsung is about to release GingerBread for our country, it just have to adjust some problems at TV apk (THIS SOURCE ISN'T RELIABLE!).

A noite vou estudar os fontes da kernel Froyo 2.2 com TV e ver quais drivers precisam ser implementados na GB 2.3.3, estava dando uma olhada nas classes de GPIO, acredito que se receber um auxilio do #humberos dá para chegar em uma Kernel GB 2.3.3 com TV.

Hi, I install the new actualization 4.0.2.A.0.62 and now I have problems in the screen, the touch of one rectangular 1 cm X 1 cm area in the centre of the screen IS NOT WORKING! What can I do ??? I have done downgrade and the problem still . Sorry about my terrible english.
