Hey everyone. Can someone please help me with getting video chat working. I'm running CM7 RC and I have tried ooVoo, Skype, Tango, Qik and ever other video chatting app I could fine and nothing is working. However when I go to my camera>settings> switch camera both front and back cameras work. Any help and/or insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,
Been trying to get the qik app working on my Desire but i keep rebooting. I have taken alook at the 4g section in the forums and followed their tips but still no good.
I have the blue icon on my phone but as soon as i try and use the app it simply reboots and i cannot for the life of me find any solutions on the web for this.
Has anyone else used this app successfully.

Is it possible to use Video Calling software on the WildFire that makes
use of the back camera? And if so what software should you recommend?
I would like to use it to show something I'm seeing when I call that person.

so i updated it to 2.3.3 it shows the video icons but when i click the video button its just doesn't work, any help??
Have you tried to uninstall and install skype?

you need simple to configure to activate Video Call from Skype Option ...
Thats weird... the skype at tge android market is updated already with video call...

Did you go into the settings in skype and enable video calling? I am on 2.3.3 overcome kratos and that's all I had to do. Last time I used it only the back camera would work for video chat, there wasn't even an option to use the front camera. But the rear camera was working for me.

2.3.4 supports both cameras.
Happend since I've rooted mytouch4G, it freezes with qik and Skype uninstalled and uninstalled but nothing happend just freezes. I rooted it correctly I know ask T-Mobile but of course they didn't help... this is a must to be able to use video chat for work. Please help.

what ROM are you on?
everytime i'm trying to upload a picture from Instagram, it shows all black. I'm currently running CM11 2-15-2014 and also filled the help form from the help section on instagram.com but still nothing.. Any advice?

Just noticed that this past weekend (I'm on the 2/13 nightly). The Instagram in app camera will work and upload fine. I haven't had a chance yet to poke and see if it's a rom, device, or Instagram problem.
