Hi,
Been trying to get the qik app working on my Desire but i keep rebooting. I have taken alook at the 4g section in the forums and followed their tips but still no good.
I have the blue icon on my phone but as soon as i try and use the app it simply reboots and i cannot for the life of me find any solutions on the web for this.
Has anyone else used this app successfully.

I tried to share some videos made by myselft on my N1, but, i realized that it's only possilble using a wifi network ! So, do someone knows if i can do something to share over 3G network ? I mean any software that trick my phone and make it believe that is on wifi!

Interestingly enough I found that I can upload any size video to youtube via 3g by using the seesmic twitter app. Run the application, and go into setup to change video sharing to youtube from yfrog. Then enter your credentials. From then on, when you record a video, click share and then seesmic. It will automatically start the seesmic app with a tweet started "http://www.youtube.com/********". Let automatic the upload continue in the background and once you check back and it is a solid link you know it's complete. You do not have to tweet the link as it's already active, simply copy the link to whatever means you which to distribute.

hey, this really do the trick! thanks! But there is no way to share direct from youTube appl? (Only have a problem with big files, i believe 2mb+)

Im new to root but i have an evo 4g and have tried several different roms but when i try to sync with appbrain on all but stock roms it starts another list instead of letting me access my original list can anyone help??

You should share your solution as someone else may have a similar issue and will find this thread in a search and then be bummed out that it didn't help him or her in the least.
Sorry I didn't think about that gene thanx. What I found was very simple all you have to do is go to appbrain on a your pc or full website from your evo and add the check the box next to the apps you want to transfer and just above the list is an option to add. Click on the option and select the list you want to add them to. This will give you your paid apps too the only problem I noticed is that if you have any online games like Imobsters the game starts over because it doesn't recognize your phone right but at least I retrieved my paid apps without having to rebuy.

Anyone else having issues with the market right now? When I try to download or update an app the download will appear to start and immediately stop. No errors reported. I have tried clearing market data even restored a nandroid backup from yesterday that was known to be good. Still the same problems.

I was just about to download and install another rom because I've been having the same problem since yesterday... But guess im not the only one..
I haven't been able to download pocket legends or angry birds. There are some apps that work, so i'm not sure exactly what the problem is.

I thought it may be ROM issue, but I guess not.
I am having similar issues as the OP.
I wiped the cache and data for the market and did a reboot, was about to nandroid my backup from yesterday, even tried it through appbrain...nothing is working.
the apps i am trying to update is green power premium and yelp.
I can't get anything to download now. It was working fine 3 hours ago.

The market app was running fine this afternoon but tonight it stopped working. Apps will show as Downloading and the download icon will momentarily show up in the notification bar (for less than a second). After the icon disappears, the status changes to Download Unsuccessful.
This is happening on every app (new installs and updates). I cleared the data and cache of the Market app and rebooted a few times but I get the same result. I assume this has to be a Market issue...

Same thing here. It starts to download but immediately stops & disappears from the upper task bar. I was just about to wipe my phone but decided to search the forums... good thing you started this thread OP. Looks like the market is down.

seems its been going on for a while, lately, still looking for an answer in all the mess of "me 2's"
sorry for the double... question...what version of the market do you guys have? mine is 2.12, which is the latest and seems to be the cause of the issues...

so i cleared data on Talk, and then turned off the automatic sign on and signed off. and market works. weird. very.
i never use Talk, so i would have never thought of it.

The market servers are located in south Korea. If you don't know whats happening down there, you don't deserve a working market...
My first posting, so I'm not sure what category to post this in.
I'm using Axura 2.0.5, very nice and stable ROM. But have noticed a few issues. Hoping this forum can help.
1. Facebook - I was able to login to FB on 2.1 stock from T-mobile, but since changing to Axura 2.0.5 I'm unable to. Have try to login on different wi-fi and 3G network.
2. Widget icons - when I want to move or delete a widget, sometimes the icon will expands to the whole screen and locks it. I would have to 'reboot' to resolve this.
Any advice or suggestion is appreciated.

I was on 2.0.5 and currently on Axura Final but have not had the issues you experienced. Have you tried to uninstall and then re-install. The fb app is not the best.
Are you using launcher pro? The expanding widgets thing is a feature of launcher pro, but you can only preview it unless you buy LPplus. Its happened to me but just pushing the back button usually undoes it.

Since last week whenever I try to play a youtube video either through the internet or the youtube app on my phone I get a message saying
Cannot play video
Sorry this video cannot be played.
Anyone have any ideas how I can solve it?
Almost all youtube videos would play on the phone before.

Ive had the same problem. Try on wifi. If it works that mean your network operator has some issues (o2 ireland has some technical probs with all data plans for last 5 weeks for example)

I had the same thing a few weeks ago after playing with my hosts file and some other system files (trying to install swype beta)..but I also couldn't play mp3s or most other audio file formats (which seemed to have a flow on effect to not letting youtube work).
I gave up trying to fault find (logcat wasn't giving much away) and factory reset didn't fix, so restored an earlier full backup in clockwork.

I am having a similar problem..only slightly complicated. Not only doesn't youtube work, even my video files can't be viewed. Ringer doesn't work either. However a reboot temporarily solves this problem before it strikes back again. Been doing this for more than the last 10 days..

That sound like what it says,a network prob...
Try going to airplane mode and back, or even just hitting retry a few times works for me.

same problem here,sometimes can't play my video files and youtube videos,a reboot solves the problem 4 a while...
It's embarrassing trying to show a video to someone,and my relatively expensive phone doesnt work.
stock jpy rooted,tried fast boot,app cache cleaner,but nothing helps..
uninstall the official twitter app, i read this solution in this forum. this solve my problem

Ihad the problem too and its solved it.
Yep. Twitter app is the culprit. Quite a few of the latest reviews for it mention the problem.
Don't know if Twitter is aware of the issue but hopefully it'll get fixed.

I also had the issue with not being able to play videos (or mp3s). I have flashed the 2.3.4 JVP rom and the problem has not reoccured even with the twitter app.
