Antenna Problem? Software problem? Help please. - Touch CDMA General

Hi, I have an old vogue, that is deactivated. I would like the activate it, but I am getting a no signal message. I have flashed this vogue(bell) with a verizion rom a while back, but have reflashed the bell rom repeated times. I am running out of ideas. I do not think the vogue has a hardware problem, as it was never dropped, and is in pristine condition. If anyone has any idea, or suggestion, I would appreciate it very much. The radio is 3.54.2. The latest bell rom.
Thanks in advance.
Tom.

Anyone have an idea? Sorry for the bump, but I'm just a bit frustrated.

Wizard Earpiece stopped working, Please Help.......

Hey Guys, the new "OFFICIAL" ROM has been great!!! Unfortunately the last two days I started to encounter a problem with the earpiece of my 9100 not funtioning, what I mean is that I can only recieve and make calls via speakerphone. I'm not too sure what thread saw it in, but I believe I recall other people running into this problem(cant exactly say for sure if it was ROM related.) I was just wondering if anyone ever experienced this after the install of the latest ROM. I have installed the same exact programs to the same exact place as my original ROM(which never had this problem). Could this be hardware related? :?: I hope some one could shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it. My last resort is to due a hard reset, and if that does'nt work ship it out for warranty repairs. Also I have not dropped or mishandeled my device in any way.

@ dma147
Thx for the reply. I found it very useful.
@dma147
What kind of reply was that??? Useless and rude at best...
@saaduk
Anyway, search this forum, I remember a similar problem mentioned here. Otherwise try a hard reset and switch to a different radio rom. Sounds like somehow the software got corrupted?

HP6915 Mic/Speaker Problem (Echo Feedback)

Hi
I have being using the HP6915 for a while now. Recently, it seems that I am getting a lot of Mic/Speakerphone feedback (echo). This sort of feedback is when you point a mic to a speaker and get those loud echos and such.
I am not sure if this is a hardware problem or software though I have hard reset my phone and the same thing is still happening.
I have also tried both using a headset as well as a Blue tooth but the problem still persist.
Warranty is over thus I am at a loss. Has anyone encountered a similar problem before?
Appreciate the help. Feeling quite lost without a Windows Mobile now.
Cheers
hello zakyn
to solve your problem ,all you have to do is to flash your device like me i upgraded with the french rom on Orange from the link graciously given by Donoven in the thread here is the link :
http://www.mobilite.fr.orange-business.com/public/oev4/html/fr/pme/mobiles/ba/dl.php?mi=192&pi=2510:)
many thanks to Donoven
Thanks to everyone's help.
I flashed the phone to the UK Rom and it is working now! After being down for over 3 months
Now just wondering what is inside the Orange Rom which some folks are praising.
Would like to know what some apps/software you guys are in everyone's most popular apps.
I'm currently using HTC Hom Customizer + HTC Home Plugin
Cheers

Poblems wiht my hermes

Hello,
I have a att 8525 which is all stock. When I upgraded to the att windows mobile 6 I started to see the "NO GSM" on the boot screen. It will come once in a while, the only way to get rid of it is by removing the battery. I have tried the wiki on how to fix the problem but it still comes up once in a while. Please I need help on how to fix this. Thank you Kass2112.
Anyone? please I need your help.
Wow. No one? please I need help!
If it is intermittent, it sounds like a hardware issue with the radio chip solder points losing their connection. You can try to refloat the solder with a heat gun. I think this thread has some info on it:

Jasjam dropped, now "No GSM" error

Hi everyone,
I have a Imate Jasjam, which has served me well over the last few years. It was running Windows Mobile 5 with the Telstra upgrade that was sent out a while ago. A few days ago, however, I dropped it a short distance, and suddenly the phone function stopped working. Initially I wasn't even able to open up the phone application, but a few soft resets later, that now works. Unfortunately when I start it up, it says "No GSM". There is nothing written in the Device information about Radio version, Protocol Version of IMEI.
I did a hard reset - no joy.
I thought it might be to do with my rom version, so I installed HardSPL, flashed to Black Satin (as I'd always wanted to try that one), but still no luck. The same problems persist.
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do, or am I stuck with a PDA instead of a phone?
Thanks so much for your help!
Paul
My apologies for bumping my own message, but I wondered if anyone had any further suggestions. To clarify, I have tried the various wiki answers, but I'm assuming that because this was caused by trauma rather than flashing that it may well be a hardware issue. Is that a fair assessment?
Thanks again,
Paul
I think thats a fair assessment, its possible the radio may have popped out of its connection. Might be an idea to open up the hermes and check.
If flashing a stock ROM and radio doesn't fix it, then sorry to say but it's busted (unless you can fix the hardware part of it). Have an 8525 with the same problem.
Thank you for the responses. I'm game to have a play with the hardware, but wondered if there was a good guide to getting to know the inside of my phone anywhere. I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction!
Check mikechennon's guide he provided to deassemble the phones.
