Recover Nexus S - Nexus S General

I have Nexus S updated to 2.3.2 (Build GRH78C), and I have rooted it using fastboot method.
Once you are rooted an app is installed "superuser"
I want to recover my Nexus S as I bought it; unrooted and without "superuser" app ..
Please help..
Plus is it possible to update to 2.3.3 ?! I tried a lot but I always received an error
Thanks in advance

You can download the full 2.3.3 rom here and it should be completely unrooted. Just flash it through CWM.

Thanks a lot

Hello,
Does it works ?
Do you have recovered your Nexus S without superuser function as it was first ?
If it's possible, where can i find the orginal build 2.3.2, i have only a link for 2.3.3 ?
Thanks.

Nexus S Android 2.3.3 help needed

Hi,
Noob couple of questions, my apologies.
My nexus S has GRH78C firmware but I see other posts on here regarding a version ending in 40.
Is there a specific version of 2.3.3 I need or are they the same ? (if so a link would help )
Also, can I root 2.3.3 using the superboot method ?
Cheers

if you have clockwork mod use this as a restore and you will have a rooted 2.3.3 its the easiest way to do it.
http://www.mediafire.com/?c1ww7zb837uycbk
just unzip and put the backup folder in your clockworkmod recovery folder boot into recovery and restore 2.3.3 takes 2 minutes and you will boot up with a rooted 2.3.3
Worked a treat... Thanks very much
No problem

Flash this rom for here with Odin and you are rooted. Link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250824. Does not increase the flash counter. Or flash this http://download.chainfire.eu/345/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.51.zip with a custom recovery.

S4 I337m, Cannot root 4.3

Hey guys,
I updated my I337m Telus to 4.3 and since have been unable to root using CF or motochopper. I have tried using terminal but to no avail. Superuser sometimes will install and sometimes won't. When it installs it won't grant root priveleges. I'm on MDJ at the moment. Am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2473747
Also why not just root on 4.2.2 and then flash a 4.3 stock rom and not take the update ?

I have tried kingo but to no avail. Also tried the second method but after flash to 4.3 I cannot access root privileges. Have tried completely restoring to factory and then repeating procedure step by step. Nothing. Any suggestions are appreciated thanks.

How to guide root 4.3 (Generic)/downgrade no Bl unlock!

Hello everybody!
I thought about opening this new thread to build up a how to guide for everybody who is runing on android 4.3!
This guid should use a method without the need to unlock ur bootloader. So far as I know an older version has to be flashed with flashtool/downgrade! After using the old version this version has to be rooted with the right solution (kingo for the older versions/other root method which can be found as a video/search function). Afte rthis you have to do a OTA upgrade and u should keep ur root status. A full wipe is recommended to avoid problems I'm using the sony backup app and helium backup bye clockworkmod. Anybody better suggestions.
Thanks guys!!

Need Help with OTA update Nexus 4 rooted

Downloaded the update it does it thing for a while during the install but it seems to have failed, phone reboots into Kit-Kat. My phone is rooted with towel root but I've never put any custom roms on it, just gravity box for some tweaks. It seem that the install is booting into ClockworkMod after the phone reboots. Decided to ask the experts before I brick my device, on what to do? Does anyone have any suggestions?

You need to be 100% stock recovery, system, kernel, and radio and unrooted for the ota to work. If you're not you'll have to do what you need to to return to 100%
