I got my dock today and it worked fine the first time. I tried it later and the atrix would not detect the dock. I tried just the hdmi cable and car dock but none of them worked. I got the phone replaced today. The new one worked the first time so I unplugged it and tried it again. The new atrix would not detect the dock and is doing the same thing. Has anyone else had issues with there docks?
Yep, got the same thing. It worked for a while (a month or so) then stopped.

So when I plug in my phone to the computer it won't connect, it just charges. Last time this happened I had to format myy sd card but I can't afford to do that now. This really is annoying and its making me dislike the phone more and more. Any help anyone? Thanks.
I guess first things first, you try a diffrent cable, diffrent port?

This does sound like a charge-only cable is being used.
No the cable worked well on my evo and it worked on my epic after i rooted it. Yesterday i installed the syndicate rom, then i switched back to epic experience, which was updated so installed the update. And now it doesn't want to connect to the computer. I had this problem when i first got the epic, i just formatted the SD card and that fixed it.
I've always had this problem. What I did is just unplug the cord from the phone and computer as well. Then plug the usb into a different port and then plug it into the phone and hit mount. If that doesn't work, id suggest rebooting the phone and trying again.

Having this exact problem right now.. I thought it was cause I was using 64 bit on my PC.. so I went to the office to try a 32 bit there.. I also wiped the phone, cleared the memory, rebooted the phone, tried different drivers, etc etc.. Nothing worked.
Then I realized that if I held the cable into the phone a certain way, it worked for a quick min.. so I realized the USB port was busted..
I went to the sprint store and they confirmed the USB port is bad.. so now I need to wait for a refurbed phone.. Which I am pissed about as I just bought this $500 phone 60 days ago, and now I have to get a refurb cause I didnt know my USB was messed up till now. Spent 3 hours on the phone with Sprint and 2 hours in the store, but since I am passed the 30 days, I am screwed and can only get a used phone back instead of a new one.

I ordered one of these from China a couple weeks ago and finally got it yesterday. It worked okay for an hour or two last night on my TV at home, but when I brought it to work to play with it, it doesn't appear to be interested in booting anymore. My computer doesn't detect it when I plug it into a USB port either.
Is there anything I can try before I attempt to get it replaced by the seller? That's not a headache I'm looking forward to. It's the Rockchip 3188 chipset, if that makes any difference.
Power or not?

Does the power light come on at least? Do you have a different power supply that you can try?

Yeah, it comes on and I've tried a couple different USB wall warts I have. I was trying to plug it into a projector that's got a pretty long HDMI cable on it here at work, so I'm going to run home for lunch and see if it still works on my TV.
No luck. Doesn't work at home anymore either.

If u wanna try flash custom rom on it.
I got mine from china too label at MK809III. I flashed this rom and it works great.
It should work if not hardware issue.
Press reset button then connect the micro usb near the sd slot. ur computer will detect it.. nothing on your hdmi that is normal.

Hi guys. I ran in to an issue I've never experience before, for some reason my Nexus 4 is no longer recognized when plugging in a USB cord. It was working fine like 2 weeks ago and I made no changes since then. Everything is pure stock with unlocked bootloader, no root and I'm on Lollipop which was updated via OTA with no issues plus I did a factory reset right after just to make sure. I tried everything that has been mentioned in other threads, made sure MTP was checked, USB debugging off or on, updated drivers on my computer, changed USB cords, rebooted phone, booted in safe mode and here's the thing, it isn't even recognized by my car stereo when it was working fine 2 weeks ago. I already made sure it wasn't the stereo because I plugged in a USB driver and it read it right away. I started to think that maybe the USB port on my phone went bad, but it's charging fine so I'm like clueless to what could be wrong right now. I only have 1 last thing that I could do and that's to do a factory reset, but I'm trying to avoid that so if anyone could help me in anyway I would greatly appreciate it.
Turns out that it is in fact the USB port, I noticed it was pushed back past where it's supposed to be because of an indent or line of where it used to be in the inner opening so I started to wiggle it around with the Xbox One controller USB charger that I have which is newer and grips more when plugging it in and I got a reading finally but it didn't last ?, I think this cable is what pushed it back farther and now I can't get it any closer without causing damage SMH, just when I was starting to like my Nexus 4 all over again. Oh well on to the Nexus 5 then faster than I expected.

As the title states, each time the Shield is rebooted I have to repair the included game controller. I've had the device for two months and it just started this today. I received a sound bar from Amazon today and the shield had to be unplugged in order to move the unit to a new shelf. After connecting the sound bar to my TV through an optical port, I plugged everything back in. At this point the controller required me to pair it, and has every time I've powered the device off since? I've not tried a factory reset, for obvious reasons that will be my last resort. The shield is not rooted, and on the latest firmware. The controller firmware is also up to date. If anyone has experienced this or has any idea of a cause or fix, your input would be hugely appreciated! Thank you.

I had a similar issue and it ended up being the controller. After it was replaced all was well.
Hi all,
Here's my problem : I recently changed the battery of my nexus, everything worked well, then 48h later my phone starts to shut down without any reason, when I tried to turn it on nothing happened.
Untill plugged it in, then I could get him on, unplugged the phone (the battery was at 60%) launched an app, shut down again, without getting on until I plugged it.
So I flashed factory images (latest from decembre), Everything worked fine for 48h again, until earlier today, the exact same problem happened.
Can u plz help figure it out ? thx
@oussamalabbize It's your new battery same thing happened to me send it back. My seller immediately sent me a replacement hopefully yours will do the same. I bought one of the cheap ones from eBay so I half expected that. Just wish I tested it out for a long while before I put the back on! The replacement one has been working solid now for few months just no temp sensor but can live with that.
