Stuff I could get rid of - Atrix 4G General

I will preface this by saying I did not DELETE these yet since there is no CWM Recovery for my device at this time. However, I was able to freeze the following from within Titanium Backup and saw no negative consequences.
I will be investigating further to see what other services and apps I can safely remove. But for now, this 71 is a good start.

Droid X GB Bloatware

I've been following the Droid X XDA since I got my mine back in November and have been wanting to contribute for a while. Since I have not found this thread anywhere else, I thought I would share. This is the list of apps that I have frozen and have not noticed and adverse affects (I'm currently running Rubix blurrybread).
Alarm & Timer (I use AOSP clock app)
Android Live wallpapers (If you use these, don't freeze this, obviously)
Camera (I use the leaked GB camera found on Droid life)
CarDock (Who uses the uncustomizable Blur one anyway)
com.motorola.photowidget
Date & Time (this is only a Moto widget)
Desk Home (I use AOSP cause it bothers me that I can't see the next alarm on Blur version)
Email
Email Authenticator
Email Engine (This is needed for stock text messaging. I use AOSP here, but if you're on stock then don't freeze. Text messaging will not open)
Facebook Authenticator
Flickr Authenticator
FM Radio
FMRadioService
Gallery (I use the 3D AOSP gallery)
LastFM Authenticator
LinkedIn Authenticator
Live Wallpaper Picker (Don't freeze if you use live wallpaper)
Magic Smoke Wallpapers
Media Share
Messages
Messaging
Motorola Dock Service (Again, I use AOSP, but if you don't then dont' freeze)
MS Exchange Service
Music (I use new one from Droid Life)
Music Visualization Wallpapers
My Accounts (I hate blur, but if you use any of the Blur authenticators, you need this)
Myspace Authenticator
News
News & Weather
Orkut Authenticator
Photobucket Authenticator
Picasa Authenticator
Print to retail
Quick Contact (This is a Moto Widget)
Skyrock Authenticator
Social Messaging
Social Networking
Social Sharing
Social Status
Sticky Note (This is a Moto widget. Once again, I don't use)
Swype (Not a fan)
Text Messaging (I use Mms.apk from Rubix Focused. Works great)
Toggle Widgets (Seems redundant if you use the android power widget)
Twitter Authenticator
Universal Inbox
Voicemail (Google Voice anyone)
Weather
Work Contacts
Yahoo contacts (don't freeze if you use the stock Text Messenger. For some reason it's tied in)
YouTube Authenticator
There may be more. If I missed any then please post. I'm always looking to get rid of more crap I dont' want/use/need.
Nice list. I had renamed some blur and ran into issues, so I went back to liberty and will wait for an aosp gp release.

[Q] Safe to freeze apps?

Anyone have a detailed list of apps that are safe to freeze on the i337? I keep finding myself questioning whether an app is safe to freeze and then ultimately do not freeze it because I don't want to brick my phone without recovery options. TIA

^ thanks for the list.
Awesome! Thank you! Can't wait till we have this BL unlocked and get some great ROMs. Haven't used a stockish phone in years

Thanks for the list...very helpful.
Maybe this is obvious to others, but I'd like to point out that Bluetooth share is needed for Bluetooth to work, at least it is for me. I recently upgraded to 4.3 MK2 and rooted using saferoot. I froze most of these apps using Titanium Backup, but noticed my Bluetooth wouldn't turn on. I un-froze Bluetooth share, now it works fine.

Freezing/removing bloat with Titanium.

I've had a quick scan through the S4 forums but was too impatient (if I'm honest) to look too thoroughly.
Does anyone know of a list of apps that can be removed/frozen safely with Titanium on the i9505 please?
There are some items I want to keep but most of the gimmicks I can get rid of.
cheers.
i can give you a list of what is left after deleting everything I don't need.
i'm not responsible if something doesn't work after this.
be sure u install a new launcher and keyboard before deleting the stock ones.

Hi,
Look HERE
It will remove most of what you do not need.

Safe to freeze/uninstall apps

I have searched for a list of apps that are safe to freeze or uninstall. I would hate to uninstall the AT&T bloatware and it have some crazy dependency attached to it.

Of course, if you remove all of this you will lose some of the built-in functionality, but it will not hurt anything in place. If you notice after doing this that a certain setting no longer works, I think it's pretty self-explanatory which ones correlate with which settings (e.g. if you turn off QuickMemo+, QuickMemo won't work anymore). This is why I recommend freezing them with TiBU instead of fully removing them. Also, if you fully remove them you can't get an official OTA Update.
