[Q] Can't reject calls on roaming - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hi!
When I receive a call on roaming and reject it, for the person who is calling me doesn't receive the typical busy signal. Stills on calling
I tested this is national calls and it rejects the call and the phone that is calling me receives the busy signal.
Doesn't anyone have the same problem?
I'm using the Dezire HD rom but it happens also with cyanogen roms.
Thanks!

cdma call routing - cloned phones

Hi,
Could someone provide me pointers with how actually a incoming call is routed on the cdma network.
What I want to figure out is issue with cloned phones.
Now when I have my cloned phones connected to the same tower, they both ring when an incoming call comes in?
But when they are connected to different towers only one rings, what determines which one does?
Is it possible to have only one of them ring i.e. the other ignores any incoming calls?
Maybe have the secondary phone not show itself on the network, unless it needs to make a call (voice or data)?
What about call waiting? When another incoming calls comes in when one is in session, would prefrentially go the the phone which is active or could it go to either?
Has anyone any experience of extensive testing of having two (or more) phones on a network?

[Q] Conference Call on EVO 4G Sprint

Conference Call on EVO 4G Sprint:
The only time I'm allowed to connect two calls if I've dialed both the calls from my phone but I don't get an option to merge received calls. Thus, my question is, how do you make a conference call when you are talking with someone and a third person calls you?
Any help on this matter will be appreciated.
Thanks form
You can't: the only way to make it work is exactly as you describe, you must be the caller on both for the conference to work.
Is there a work around this annoyance? Like an app from the app store or rooting my phone? Does this problem exist with every Android phone or only with Evo 4G?
Incomming CDMA and outgoing CDMA are different. You can only conference outgoing CDMA.
Rather sure this is the same with all CDMA phones. But, I have never tested on any other phone I had with verizon or sprint.
Have you tried Google Voice?

[For your information] you won't receive calls on gsm with Cm12.1 nightlies

I've already notified the CM and the DEVs, there is no time line to getting this issue fixed. So if you currently use Cm12.1 nightlies on you Sprint S5, you will NOT receive calls while your roaming on GSM networks. Calls will only come in while connected to CDMA networks. The user will just experience and eternal ring then voicemail. Your phone won't even acknowledge that it received the call.

There are several threads discussing this already. You will have to call Verizon and get a tier 2 tech person to enable CDMA_LESS provisioning on your phone. There is no Wifi calling for Verizon or AT&T.

Does anyone have a problem with incoming calls not working with volte enabled?

As the title of my post states Does anyone have a problem with incoming calls not working with volte enabled? I'm able to call people and send and receive texts but can't receive calls with volte enabled. This is the case with any volte enabled rom. Does anyone know of a solution? I'd greatly appreciate any help ?

i have the same problem (using nitrogen os 9).
after disabeling volte i receive all incomig calls.
I had this issue on ATT. Only got incoming calls using H+/CDMA. Solved by going to T-Mobile but signal was weak because is was probably ROM alpha related. Got another phone and signal was so much stronger.
