Conference Call on EVO 4G Sprint:
The only time I'm allowed to connect two calls if I've dialed both the calls from my phone but I don't get an option to merge received calls. Thus, my question is, how do you make a conference call when you are talking with someone and a third person calls you?
Any help on this matter will be appreciated.
Thanks form
You can't: the only way to make it work is exactly as you describe, you must be the caller on both for the conference to work.
Is there a work around this annoyance? Like an app from the app store or rooting my phone? Does this problem exist with every Android phone or only with Evo 4G?
Incomming CDMA and outgoing CDMA are different. You can only conference outgoing CDMA.
Rather sure this is the same with all CDMA phones. But, I have never tested on any other phone I had with verizon or sprint.
Have you tried Google Voice?

Hi,
Could someone provide me pointers with how actually a incoming call is routed on the cdma network.
What I want to figure out is issue with cloned phones.
Now when I have my cloned phones connected to the same tower, they both ring when an incoming call comes in?
But when they are connected to different towers only one rings, what determines which one does?
Is it possible to have only one of them ring i.e. the other ignores any incoming calls?
Maybe have the secondary phone not show itself on the network, unless it needs to make a call (voice or data)?
What about call waiting? When another incoming calls comes in when one is in session, would prefrentially go the the phone which is active or could it go to either?
Has anyone any experience of extensive testing of having two (or more) phones on a network?

Hi!
When I receive a call on roaming and reject it, for the person who is calling me doesn't receive the typical busy signal. Stills on calling
I tested this is national calls and it rejects the call and the phone that is calling me receives the busy signal.
Doesn't anyone have the same problem?
I'm using the Dezire HD rom but it happens also with cyanogen roms.
Thanks!
I cant do conference calls using the 3 network. I ring my dad he is also on three. Then I add another caller who is also on three. But when I add the third caller it puts my dad on hold.
Any ideas?
Thats how conference calling works in US. After you have the other person connected, you should see the option to merge calls. Select merge.
Anyone having any issues with incoming calls not going through when wifi is on with 4g lte?My friends told me theyve called me a couple times but i never got any missed calls notification. If they leave a voicemail thats all i get on my notification.Ive only had the g2 for 1 week.I have t-mobile and sometimes i get delayed text when im on wifi.Text messages all come through when wifi is off.Could this be a software issue or bug?Works fine with with wifi and just regular 4g on but when i have lte on thats when the incoming calls doesnt go through.Sometimes i only get voicemail if they leave one but no missed calls notification.Ive read on a google forum that people with nexus 5 are having this issues too.I love the g2 but when incoming calls are not going through with wifi and lte on thats just not cool and i have a brand new sim card on it.I replaced the my old sim thinking that was the problem but the problem still persist do idk if this is a software bug or what.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue with no wifi calling or incoming text messages or phone calls. I can't figure out how to get it to work with verizon.

There are several threads discussing this already. You will have to call Verizon and get a tier 2 tech person to enable CDMA_LESS provisioning on your phone. There is no Wifi calling for Verizon or AT&T.
