I can make one but I dont have the device. so either need the device or a tester.

Maybe because Rose is special, and other are garbage-like smartphones?
Anyway, how is developing a HardSPL for Rose going?

any updates on this please? i am adding this device to my growing HTC repatoire but it seems no development is going on in here at all! any updates on the PM's sent to olinex about this.......... hope something done soon as this is a very capable device!

I think a goldcard could solve the problem about how to flash a new rom.
But this method is not a easy available hardspl.

OliNex doesn't have PM enabled... you can try PM'ing me... donations would also help so we can buy a test device

I can create goldcard for the rose, if anyone needs it, but that will only allow HTC ROMs

Yes,maybe this would be limited to the official rom.
I found Qmat could make Goldcard for rose.
But this funtion need a registered version(cost 20eur). A registered soft could many Goldcard for different HTC model.

1) I can give goldcard cheaper than that if you PM me
2) yes only official ROM
3) qmat doesn't generate an unlimited number of goldcards

How do i create a goldcard?

im trying to unroot my mytouch 3g and it says start a thread in this forum if i cannot or dont know how to create one please help thanks

Which methods have you tried BEFORE posting here?

Did you need a gold card to root? If you did use that same one... If you didn't need one to root them you don't ned one to unroot. Is this a US magic? My touch? If it is then go follow the unroot for the g1. That's what I did when I turned mine in for warranty.....

Goldcard will let you install ruu from other vendors and models... but it will respect version nr!
So, make sure that you are installing a ruu with same or higher version nr.

Tried autoroot and it gave me some unknown error. Lets see what happens.

it is easy. I'm new to rooting and I did it with no problem. Just follow directions.

Thanks for reading the guide its so easy to do I have done it 6 times and help anyone out not hard at all so easy.
When using unrevoked it may say something about connection with the phone was interrupted when it reboots your phone after running the program. Dont worry its normal and now your fully rooted.
Can't go wrong if you need anything PM and I will guide you through it.

Let me know if you need help. Unrevoked is easy to use no battery pulls or anything insane just easy read the site and my links are in the order you need to do things.

Thanks my phone has been rooted since u had to use adb. But haven't been able to do the e z way.... trying to help my cuzin get what I got. Will try again.

Cool man. This is about the most easy way to do things to root. It's simple to unroot to all of those other programs people say to use can be a pain in the ass to use lol.
Glad it's working for you flashing and rooting is confusing for new people and alot of people can be a bit rude when you ask for help. I been learning everything I can from reading and trial and error.

This is as easy as it gets just follow the directons on there site. Make sure you don't have Htc sync installed otherwise you will have issues.

pc36img.zip may confuse people it is case sensitive PC36IMG.ZIP OS how it should read , other than that nice job.

If your not using a evo this method will not work for you. Check here to see if your phone is supported. This method listed here is for the evo.

Ya I have done it for many friends and help noobs out not hard at all only two steps. Unless the noob has htc scyn installed and didn't read that it will cause issues. lol.

This guide is easy as pie dunno what there isn't to like about it all the links are at bottom of page if you can't read the directons on there site that's your fault lol.
All it takes is two baby steps till your rooted
H boot driver and unrevoked 3 not hard at all is all it takes other methods it's a pain to unroot.
Unrooting is even eaiser.
This is the usb driver needed for WINDOW USER'S
attached.

I am trying to downgrade my wildfire and flash a CM7 rom.

I would like to downgrade my HTC Desire HD Gingerbread 2.3.3 so I can can root my phone and install custom roms; As far as I know I need to have a Goldcard to achieve this. I've been searching Google and downloading and installing every Goldcard tool I could find, but everyone of them is trying to redirect you to the RevSkills site.
Hope you can help us, I'm sure there must be more people who are looking for some info.
