Post your favorite photos taken with your EVO!

Hello-
I've heard people doubting the capabilities of the camera used in the EVO and the Incredible, so I wanted to show off some photos I've taken with my EVO. Most were using Vignette (an awesome app!).
None of my photos have been postprocessed beyond some minor contrast adjustments, everything else is 100% EVO, including the brilliant lens flares.

lol.....I bet. My little girl LOVES it. She just turned two and she actually asks me (in her own way) to hit the gas when she's in the car with me. lol

[Q] iPhoney kind of launcher?

Is there any iPhoney launcher? The first thing youll see is the apps, and theres an bar on the bottom etc.
Dont ask me why I want this! xD
EDIT: vLauncher seems pretty good, but it doesnt really fit the Wildfire screen :S And the scrolling to left and right are not very good...

The Samsung launcher on this board is a bit similar to the iPhone. You would have to do a bit of setup to make it look like it but it would be a decent match.

Very nice picture, very tiny, really nice!

Plz reupload the pic so we can easily count the iphone's screen pixels... IN this size they really look tiny - what a pity...

Maybe he wants features of Android that iPhone doesn't have, like a choice of web browser, keyboard, the ability to tether without paying extra, wifi hotspot etc.
These things are available on jailbroken iPhones but I believe you have to pay for the wifi hotspot app, and the range of keyboards is not inspiring.

I saw a thread elsewhere in XDA about this, but lets make it all about the Evo... because different phones can do different things. That being said, I am an ICS junkie, and coming from GB the one thing I really missed were the screen transition options and customizabilty of the launchers for it....Sure Apex and Nova are great, but lack the holy sh*t factor many GB launchers could give you with themes, icons, docks, and screen transitions. I haven't heard about this launcher in the Evo threads, so I figured I would share with others who hadn't heard of it either. Once you figure this launcher out, you will fall in love with it and what you can do with it. It plays well with ICS roms.. even HWA ones and works well with GB roms. Give it a shot, you won't be dissapointed. It evens gives you an option to save your setup in a zip file to share with others. Everything you see is fully customizable even down to the font.

Note 2 theory

I've read a lot on here about people comparing the Note to the Galaxy S3. And the general consensus seems to be the same: They love the speed and updated UI but the lack of the S-Pen and smaller screen were the turn offs. Now consider when the Note first came out, the experience was like a larger S2 with a stylus so it makes sense to theorise that the Note 2 will be a larger S3 with a stylus.
What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Nope, that's just some kids imagination, nothing official at all. HTC has been failing lately so I'm much more interested in what Samsung will come up with.

Sgs3 vs SG Note

Hello there
I started this thread to make a comparaison between the two device to help people on chosing the model which more fits his needs
I own both and can't actually decide which one use as main....
Luckily i have 2 telephone numbers so I use both

so far i can elaborate a bit:
Both have ics (the sgnote has a custom icsRocketRom)
they are both very fast, but you can feel the sgs3 has more processing power and it is overall faster
when you type messages on the sgnote its easyer and you end up with faster typing
browsing speed seems about the same
ics version on sgs 3 is more modern and seems better
the battery on sgs 3 seems very good but i feel that sgnote has longer usage
the screen of the sgnote is huge and at the end it makes the main difference between the 2 devices
at the end probably any comparaison is not fair since they are not the same category of device
if they had same hardware and software it would only be a matter to decide : "Do i have enough room to carry a gnote"?

I am in the same boat. Got my .sg3 yesterday but after flashing liquid on my Note I miss my Note some. I think the Note 2 will be the one. Although I am going to use my GS3 as my main phone now
