I wonder if you soft reset if it will stop playing when you plug in your headphones.
I just logged on the forums to ask a very similar question...
How come sometimes the wizard plays both through my headphones and the speakers?
Just this morning I was listening to GSPlayer with the headphones in and no sound through the speakers. Then just now plugged in the headphones and hit play and it is playing through both. But if I do a soft reset it goes back to just head phones...
It does this quite often and I'm wondering if anyone knows what is going on?
How do i keep my phone on silent/vibrate but still listen to music with earphones?
and also im sick of the music player problems after ive had a phone call!
Hi - just wondering if anyone else noticed some background noise / distortion when using headphones on the tab 7.7.
Happens when playing any sound and continues for 2-3 seconds after it stops. Tested with the stock buds and some replacement buds I picked up a few days ago. With my over the ear headphones I can't hear it though. Easiest way to test is just by playing a movie and pausing it.... there is a hissing noise for a few seconds afterwards.
Maybe related: even with headphones plugged in, notification sounds come out of the speakers - this is my first Android device so I'm not sure if that's normal or not.
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or if it might be hardware related. Thanks!

Yeah I get that too. Doesn't really bother me though. I mean, it's not like I can still hear it while playing music or anything...
Mine's pretty noticable, even when playing music/videos. Weird that it's totally quiet with my over-the-ear headphones

Personally, I only really notice it if there's a trailing silence from music or videos, but while there's actually sound, I can't detect it.
Hi everyone.
I have an issue with the microphone. When I play a video I recorded with the camera, the audio of the recorded file is incredibly quiet, even though the audio source was loud and clear.
For example, I played a youtube-video on my PC and recorded it using the S5. It was loud and clear on my PC's speaker, but the recorded file has very quiet audio. I was sitting right in front of my PC when recording.
When listening to music on my S5, volume is all right so it must be something about the microphone.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
My phone makes very hearable crackling noises when playing music or videos, speakers as well as headphones. Especially annoying when its a quiet video with just talking or when the volume is low. Do any of you have this problem as well?
