G900F videos too quiet - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone.
I have an issue with the microphone. When I play a video I recorded with the camera, the audio of the recorded file is incredibly quiet, even though the audio source was loud and clear.
For example, I played a youtube-video on my PC and recorded it using the S5. It was loud and clear on my PC's speaker, but the recorded file has very quiet audio. I was sitting right in front of my PC when recording.
When listening to music on my S5, volume is all right so it must be something about the microphone.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

mp3 Audio Quality

Hi,
What do people think of the audio quality of the Hermes in terms of playing mp3's though the headphones. I notice I can hear the background noise floor (hiss) when playing mp3's, it's not too bad but noticeable. Is there any way to improve this?

audio popping/crackling from bottom mic when recording

I just purchased a new Galaxy S4, but have an issue with popping on recorded audio. The pop is mostly coming from the bottom microphone. When I record audio or video, I can see the signal indicator jumping when the input is popping.
If anyone wants to test this, just go to a quiet room and record audio with the voice recorder, and watch for the pops.
Here's a video of the noise, but it does the same with the regular audio recorder. EDIT. I'm a noob and can't post links. Search on youtube for "ngwTBJ5ew08" for a sample video. Listen to the left channel.
BTW, this is not the headphone issue. This is recording and it is part of the recorded file. I.E., it has the same popping sounds consistently, at the same spots, on other devices.
Anyone else notice this? Is this just how it is? Should I exchange it? Thanks.

How do you record loud audio without clipping?

I like to record video and audio at live concerts. Whenever I record video with the 6p, the audio comes out pretty decent w/ no clipping.
However, when I use an audio recorder, such as the Sony Audio Recorder and Field recorder, i get tons of clipping. I've tried turning down gain and enable clip protection, but the recording quality always sounds overloaded whenever the bass hits. The audio meters in it doesn't show that it reaches the 'red' but the resulting audio is still distorted.
How can i record audio w/ the 6p and get it sounding as good as the audio in the videos i record?

Speaker Audio levels are playing very weird

Hi, I was using CRDroid (android 8.0 version) for some months before I switched to stock marshmallow rom recently.
The following issue is present In BOTH THE ROMS.
The volume levels of the speaker are very weird,
While browsing instgram some videos have excessively low volume while others have decent while some have good audible sound
Before u say that it's the users audio quality let me tell you that I compared the same videos on my cousins iPhone 6s (which has a mono speaker) and audio levels on all the videos were quite audible.
Even my YouTube and Spotify plays at very low volumes.
I used to think my speaker was damaged but then how can I explain the high volume instgram videos???
Mx player allows me to playback videos at high volumes with the help of its sw decoder but what about the rest of the places? :/
Can anyone shed some light on this???
