I would like to know if it is possible to revisit past events that had been set in my calendar using the agenda view?
I use the calendar to track my work. Sometimes I just need help to recall what I did on which day.
The only way I can do that is to pick specific dates from past months, until I find the one(s) that I need.
Is there any other method?

What is the best application which will allow viewing a list of calendar appointments between two dates on one screen ?
(Correct me if I am wrong, but WM5 does not allow you to see a list of calander appointments from different days on the same screen).

Hello everybody,
I've been a happy Hero convertee since my device arrived two days ago. Well, I had to weather the Facebook-bug but there's plenty of help on the web. However, it seems that I've found somethimg new:
For some reason, my calendar does no longer display events in the grid view while list view keeps working perfectly. Also, the HTC calendar widget (small layout) does show no events in the preview area (although there are events) while the Android calendar widget still does its job. Soft resetting and re-syncing did not help...
Any ideas anyone?

i got the same problem whith the htc calendar widget yesterday. It dont show the next upcoming event.
My alarms from the calender has also stop working, so somthing must be wrong with the calender, but i cant find anything...
I also have problems, when i use the htc agenda widget and the pure calender widget. But the calender under android widgets, seems to work better. My problems are, that it stops showing events that has been created a long time ago.
Same problem here, post Orange update, no calendar widget updates.
How come when I go to the agenda view in the calendar it only shows this week's appointments? I've got stuff in there for next tuesday/wednesday and you can view it in the monthly view but it won't appear in the agenda.
Is this fixable?
I believe that Agenda view can only show appointments for a total of 7 days, at least in the 1.48 ROM with Calender View update. It doesn't seem like a fault that's fixable, more like an intended design that doesn't meet your requirements. I don't know if their is a registry setting to modify it. Maybe a 3rd party application would suit your needs?

Has anyone figured out any way to get more detailed recurring appointments? In previous htc phones/wm versions, I had the option to setup appointments every X days, or weeks, or Y days before end/start of the month etc.
In the current setup there are 4 or 5 basic options and thats it.
workaround
Btw. the workaround Im using is editing the appointments in outlook on my laptop and then synching, but would be nice to do from the hd2 itself.
If you close sense and go back to the windows default as you home screen, you get back the default calander app.
Use Start - Outlook - Calendar instead of the htc calendar, which opens the outlook calendar rather than the htc one, and gives you many more options in the new appointment screens.

I know that neither default calendar nor Microsoft calendar can display a list of events in agenda for the whole year or more.
The questions is is it possible to hack this? or use another third party calendar?
Another feature I miss is that the dates where events are present are NOT marked in a "year view". Say, in default HTC calendar days which contain events could be RED, days without event default black. Would be nice?

It would be very nice indeed. Until that happens, try using Manila Today Page and putting Today Agenda as the plugin for it.
