[Q] radio image 26.4.2.17??? - myTouch 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi! every one
Can someone help me find a radio image 26.4.2.17 for mytouch 4g
I have GorillaSens DHD-MT4G- v2.2.3

What is the latest radio version for this cell

any ideas of the latest radio

Either what you are looking for doesn't exist, or it would not work on this device. I've heard radios are device specific and flashing a new one would be unwise.

[Q] Need Help Updating My Radiooooo

I have a [32A] My Radio is 2.22.23.02 Im trying to update it to 3.22 I Found a tutorial but really didnt understand the command prompt parts ..................................sorry ima noob
No no no no no, did I say no? You've got a hybrid 32A/32B device. Flash that radio and your phone will become a paperweight. You need to read the sticky on the first page about myTouch 1.2's.

Ooooooooo I get now so my phone is really 32B? Hmmmmm the reason I was asking because I want to get Ginger yoshi rc4 it said it needed 3.22......how do I successfully install that rom?
Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App
You probably wont be able to. You can try flashing it and then flashing a 32B kernel over it, but that may send you into a bootloop. Which is fine, just make sure you make a backup of your current ROM first so you can restore it if something does go wrong.

When I flash Ginger Yoshi I do go into boot loop I always thought it was the radios fault tho..
Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App
Its not necessarily that the radio is at fault, more that the ROM's kernel isn't made to support the 2.22.23.02 radio.

Have any of you TELUS folks flashed your radio yet?

Just as the title says. Have any of you TELUS folks flashed your radio yet and which one worked? Did it help in any way?
Yes, I flashed my radio.
I can't say if there's any improvement since I only used the phone with the Telus Radio for one day.
Been using the 12.35d.60.140f_26.06.03.24_M2 radio since and didn't experience any issue.
What kind of improvements can I expect if I flash the radio on my DHD ?
I'm a noob in radio flashing
AFAIK the phone's battery will last longer while in sleep with more recent radio.

I flashed my radio when I rooted and flashed Android Revolution HD. Better battery life for sure, but that could just be the ROM.

Looking to get a new radio for my g2

I'm running CM7 and my connection gets spotty at time I'm still running the original radio that came on the G2. What radios is everyone else running I just want a stronger signal and more reliability thanks in advance

a good thing
There is no "perfect" radio solution for everyone. Each person has a different experience with each radio.
If I had to make a recommendation to a T-Mo US user with a G2, it would be the stock OTA radio. That would be Vision_Radio_12.52. 60.25_26.08.04.30.

Thats the radio from the OTA. The radio that came with your phone came from Android 2.2.

The radio I posted is the most up to date radio for T-mobile USA. The one that came with the 2.3 OTA. So yes, you will probably see better results with the updated radio.

Its your phone do what you want. If you dont have good service then yes try different radios. If your service is fine then just stick with the radio you got. Whats your reason for posting such a random question? lol
Actually.when I upgraded to the 4.0.4
I cannot press the keyboard "O"
I don't it is related to the radio verison
You have the latest version of the radio.

I'm reasonably sure that it has nothing to do with the radio version, I seem to recall reading the same thing somewhere else, so it isn't just you.

No signal and Wi-Fi issues

Hi all,
I am in need of some help I had a Branded DHD on 3, which I unlocked for my DAD who is on Vodafone it was working for a good 3 weeks then either said no sim inserted or lost signal a simple power off and back on seemed to fix it.
However more recently it has given up all together no signal and now wi-fi issues.
The phone was rooted and running ICS The Collective rom , my Dad did not like it so I put on a sense 3.5 rom and as above was running no problem up until now can anyone advise me if indeed it does need a new radio or is there a simple fix?
I have searched long and hard for a solution but nothing if anyone could help it would be great !!:good:
Which radio do you have? Settings-About-Baseband version
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
Flash A new radio and see if that fixes it
Sent from my Desire HD using Swype beta for Android!
Cheers I will check the baseband and post, were is this new Radio? and also is there an easier way to flash a new radio on an already flashed DHD?
Thanks again
Radio's usually come I zip files. Just flash them like you would a new ROM (just wipe cache and Dalvik, not full wipe)

Hi the baseband I am currently on is 12.65.60.29U_26.14.04.28_M
I have tried to flash a radio with CWM but would say installation aborted? but knowing me I am a bit rusty with the DHD as now on an HTC One X.
If anyone can provide a link for flashable radios via CWM that wold be great the current rom that is installed is GingerSense4 v1.2.
Thanks again in advance:good:
You need to flash the new radio through bootloader, not cwm. You will need to plug it into your computer and follow the guide on how to flash radio somewhere in the forum

There are many guides to flash a radio here is one of them:

Thanks again will let you know how I get on :good:
Out of curiosity I checked once I booted into HBOOT and this is what it says at the top??
ACE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
Hboot-2.00.0027
Microp-0438
RADIO-26.14.04.28_M
eMMC-boot
Sep 7 2011,19:06:24
Does this mean its un rooted again? so I will now need to start again?
It's not un-rooted but S-ON means the security flag is ON. You need to use the AAHK to install an ENG H-Boot with S-OFF, if you want it. It's not really necessary though. The easiest way to flash a radio is through AAHK, if you have no experience of going it before. Read through the AAHK manual fully before doing it. You can't just flash radios in recovery.
It seems you already have the latest radio from the last world wide update for the DHD. I'm going to link you to a newer version, try that and tell me if it fixes your issues. If that doesn't work, I'll link you to an older version which might work. Radios work differently for everyone, depending on the frequencies used in their countries. So it's not a case of 'newer is better' for radios.
New radio (12.68.60.29_26.16.04.09_M) - http://goo.gl/V06BH
Old radio (12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M) - http://goo.gl/jnxBx
Just one thing, BEFORE you flash any of the above radios, just download the corresponding RIL for your 26.14.04.28 radio and flash it in recovery. Run your phone for some time and see if it makes a difference. If you're running a Sense ROM, you need to flash the corresponding RIL for a radio, not so for AOSP ROMs like CyanogenMod/AOKP. Similarly, if you flash any of the above radios, flash their corresponding RILs too (I can't find a link to the RIL for the newer radio, but you can flash one for the older radio). You can get RILs from the link below.

hi thanks very much! I booted into recovery earlier on today and it said ''Safe Mod''
I then flashed IceColdSandwich summer edition v8.2 because my phone would just sit with a black screen... and nothing still just sits on a black screen now flashed 3 roms still nothing.
I can go into recovery and boot loader but thats it and most of these procedures require the phone to be on I cant get to that stage :crying:
I have flashed many phones from HTC Hero, S2, HD2 etc I now own an HTC One X all find but this DHD is the first one I ever sim unlocked via unlockme.com (or something similar cannot remember)
So really at a loss now any suggestions anyone? :fingers-crossed:
Please help me sat down to fix this today .... I've boot this into Fastboot to find my boot into recovery is now missing so I can no way boot phone or into recovery (I think)
Can anyone give me a link etc to fix this? as most guides requires phone to be on??
thanks in advance:good:

What you are trying to ask is that you are unable to boot into recovery? have you lost your recovery? or you are not having an option in bootloader to go into recovery?
Have you done the superCID thing? I don't know how to do it exactly but there are guides. Search for them. I'm guessing that may be your issue.
