Bluetooth streaming quality? - EVO 4G General

Seeing as NYC just made it so that if you're caught using a cellphone you get 2 points on your license I plan on buying the bluetooth stereo adapter for my car stereo, a JVC KD-HDR40, but as curious to see how the quality is with others that stream music using their Evos.
If it matters, I'm running CM6.1.2.

I use the BT motorola hd stereo headphones and they sound excellent, tremendous bass.
Try cm7 , it has a great eq/settings to customize the sound
So to answer the question, yes the streaming, quality is great imho.

Best EQ program/player for the Vibrant

So I'm not completely satisfied with Vibrant's default music player and its EQ. I tried Astro Player but the EQ on that is crap. I found out MixZing has THE EQ I'm looking for and it sounds quite amazing but the app itself is not ideal as a music player and the EQ taxes the CPU = lower battery. Is there another player with a similar EQ or is there a program I can use to force a EQ over the ENTIRE phone (not just music player) so that I can then use any music player. I don't care if I have to root the device to get such an app to work.
I'm new to Android coming from Nokia XpressMusic series (which sound amazing with their EQs) so looking to replicate that. It's a HIGH priority for me being an audiophile.
would like to know this as well
No one has an idea?
If you were an audiophile you wouldn't use an EQ.

I just use the stock music player since it plays all my FLAC music. I messed around with the EQ and sounds pretty good with me. Other than Mixzing I haven't really using anything else.

That's baloney.
Anyway... what's wrong with the Vibrant's EQ? I don't particularly like the range of adjustments for the low and high end but it's fine for the most part and it's not very clippy.
its frustrating that i have to select bass enhancement every time i go to use the music player. it won't remember it. i know that feature won't work without headphones, but still.
also the whole Android community has been in need of an EQ for a long time. lots of threads out there for people such as Droid users. They will be jealous when they find out the Vibrant has one.

Music player on Galaxy S too quiet - help!

Anyone know any way of increasing the volume of the stock music player on the Galaxy S. It's just so quiet when compared to the iPod. This has nothing to do with my headphones, since when I listen to max volume on my iPod with the same headphones, it feels like my brain is gonna explode.
Cheers!!
Download poweramp off the market, its a better music player anyway. It has a pre amp function that boosts the output.

Downmix to mono audio (for headphones) possible?

I have an .avi file with a 5.1 audio stream, but the stream is messed up - most of the sound is coming out of the FR channel, because it was improperly encoded from a mono or stereo source. I can watch the video ok on a pc if I use gomplayer and set up AC3 decoder to downmix to mono - the audio from all channels is mixed and played through L and R channels of headphones.
The Question is:
Does android have an app or a plugin to downmix to mono audio, for Nexus 7?
I know Voodoo control panel can do this, but it doesn't work with N7.
I also tried a number of players -
mx player, mobo player pro, moboplayer, dice player, vplayer, rock player lite, bs player. There may have been a few more I don't recall at the moment.
None of these players have the option to downmix to mono.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks.
You can get a stereo to mono cable for like a dollar on Amazon. Easiest solution.

Thanks. I thought about that.
There are two disadvantages - more hardware required and the volume would be almost half of what the downmix would give. And N7 already has a borderline unbearably low volume.

I use the the app Equalizer and have a the rock preset, it ups the audio nicely. Couldn't find an app to do what you want, though.

Forgive me, I'd like to bump the thread to see if anyone knows of a more elegant solution.

Problem with 16 Bit 44.1khz audio playback.

Hi,
In an effort to get around the generally miserable sound quality on my OPT, I installed the android app for Qobuz, the streaming music service I use. This allows streaming of CD quality 16 bit 44.1khz uncompressed audio, only of course my OPT won't play it, just skips the tracks. The app and audio output works fine on my Sony Z3 compact and Nexus 4.
Does anybody have any suggestions for a fix/work around?
The terrible audio quality really is an issue with this handset, I'm really surprised more isn't made of the issue in reviews etc. Coming from the Sony, which was astonishingly good, this is just about a deal breaker, I no longer use my phone to stream audio in the car as it's just so bad!
Just noticed the other thread with the same problem with Tidal's hi-fi streaming service, so this is clearly a software/hardware issue with this handset. Hope it gets addressed else I'll have to sell mine. It's amazing that Oneplus were able to make a phone that sounds so awful, quite an achievement in 2015!
