Blurry MMS pictures... HELP!

I've spent hours trying to figure out how to receive clear pictures through MMS and I can't figure it out... I tried changing APN settings, and nothing? Is there anything else I can try? Thanks for any suggestions!

Is no a setting
Is no a setting is a Rom problem!!!
The onlyone have this fix is Frankeinstine ROM.
The problem is rom need to be modified for up the size of the MMS from 300k to 1024k.
Speak with you favorite rom developer to fix it or download Frankistine ROM.

it could also be to do with the user agent your phone presents to teh network. on mine (o2 uk, cyangone mod rom) i recieve tiny pics, but using the tweak in the messaging client to present itself as a nokia n95 i get image sizes as expected.

Would I change the name under the APN settings? Or where? Thanks

Go to the android messaging program > settings > custom user-agent > custom > type in NexusOne.
Try to send a MMS to yourself and see if that helps.

Maker sure you are using the default android messaging app. Not handcent or some other 3rd party apps.

I'm using MDJ's CyanogenMod 7 v. 2.6 [A2SD+][GRH78C][RMNET][Kernel: MDJ S10.4 OC].
It's a plain gingerbread build. But I have seen that option with froyo also.

These options are not present on the Froyo Revolution Sense rom, so, seeking another workaround for it.

But this version you're using, is it on your SD or on the phone? I'm haven this issue with the phone firmware.. I used to be able to receive pics just fine with the SD setup... which on phone setup is best that will fix this issue? Thanks.

i did,same blurry 3kb size

Same with me. I actually sometimes get 1kb size. I'm on TMOUS running MDJ gingerbread 2.5. What's everyone else running?

im running that, on nand, and i have the user agent setting available, and after setting it to n95 it works fine. guess the other options probably work too, just find one that your network recognises.

if i set it to N95 it stucks forever and than says unable to sent message

[q] help!! No 3g/data on gingerbread honeycomb build

Says on link of build that 3g/data
that it works
but any droid operating system whether it be froyo or gingerbread
my 3g/data doesn't work but have no probs with wifi or making calls
no internet or market apps obviously.
Please help !

i have all kinds of trouble with most non sense builds with the apn settings not working until i manually edit them.

settings - wireless and network - mobile networks - access point names
in there are one, some or many APN's (acess point names)
Its a full page to explain everything, just find out what your settings are, and have a play, and a damned good read on here. after you make a change, press start and choose save, else it wont change till you soft reset. sometimes it seems not to change anyway till you reset.
if you are testing mms and a pic gets stuck on 'sending', , they generally never go, even when you finally get the settings right, so ditch it and send another.

Blurry picture message FIX*

Ok a lot of you probably know this but I have been struggling to get a answer/fix from anyone here in the past week or so.
IF you have a custom rom on your phone (I.e. HD2 with UD 3.3) and have noticed your picture messages aren't too clear then all you have to do is open up messages, menu - settings - scroll down to "Custom User Agent" and change it to "NexusOne" (type it in without the "")

NexusOne as UA doesn't support everyone. It's a true or false. If one UA wont work then try another. FYI, I am using N95 or custom MyTouch4g because NexusOne doesn't work for me. Oh, by the way, check your network also of they support the phone you are choosing as UA.

Which is the best and most up to date Android to run on my hd2.

I have an hd2. And I'm running froyo 2.2 I think. I have had it for about a year. And everything works great. Except for a couple of bugs. Home screens don't rotate, flash doesn't work for camera, and I can't install angry birds. Damn it. With that said has there been a new Android build worthy of me flashing it to my hd2 and replacing my froyo? Also is there a way to flash it so I don't turn on phone and it goes to energy Rom. Please help.

Latest android is Gingerbread 2.3.4

Thanks man. I got the gingerbread and it works great. Haven't found any bugs yet. Except one. My mms messages wont download. Is this cuz of my apn settings? Does anyone have a new apn setting for the gingerbread. I have tmobile.

Im thinking that the 2.3.4 ROM you are now running is the nexus one build to HD2. you wouldn't be able to run htc sync since it would recognize the phone as a nexus one. the windows mobile sync center also wont work.

Ok first things first.
I tested many roms but ONLY PURE Gingerbread rom is listed on my signature. Also dont had any problems with MMS or SMS.
Yes syncing wont work, but some stuff you can make with DroidExplorer
Right now maked some search for soft and found three sync soft. I dont tested these yet. You use it with your own risk. Backup with titaniumbackup first.

I've used both DroidExplorer and MyPhoneExplorer. They both seem a little twitchy. I mainly rely on syncing with my Google account. I use Google Calendar Sync on my PC to sync my Google calendar and Outlook.

HTC HD2 ANDROID wont allow mms plz help!

I Have A MMS problem I can't download picture messaging I can't send picture messaging neither due to MMS blocking on my phone I don't know how to change the settings to allow mms and not only that whenever I use my 3g network to surf the web the web pages wouldn't load I used to be able to go anywhere and everything be working fine but since I flashed this froyo rom into my HTC HD2 3g Symbols show but refuse to work ... does anyone know how to fix this?

Let's start of with the basic... did you do a full wipe before you switched rom? ?

Most likely you need to restore your APN settings for your service provider.....settings are in wireless and networks

Yes I did a full complete wipe through everything but before I did the wipe everything was working perfectly fine.. But Now All I Get Is 3G symbol in the notification bar yet The Browser Nor MMS Works I've Tried Just About Everything To Solve The Problem Including Changing The APN Settings Still Doesn't Work Ugh I Just Got This Phone I'm Only 12 I Haven't Had This Phone For A Year Yet :/
