If you install Liberated R012(there is no FR012 yet) you will be downgrading to Android 2.1.
Sean
so you're saying the liberated_aria_fr007 is 2.2, and the fr012 is 2.1?? i really don't get it. anyway, the link of liberated_aria_fr12 on that thread eclair doesn;t work for me. everytime i click on it, it show blank window, if anyone has the link of it, please help, and please give me the gapps flash for it too, thanks

You do not need to flash the gapps separately on the Liberated Roms. That is only necessary for the CM 6.x Roms.
This links works:
http://droid.neolobster.com/roms/liberated_aria_R012_signed.zip
Which browser are you using? This link works in Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.

Tom
thanks, tpbklake for the link, just a question though. is it true that liberated_aria_fr007 is 2.2? and liberated_aria_fr012 is 2.1? or they are the same 2.2? thanks
FR007 is 2.2 and R012 is 2.1

There is NO FR012. There IS R012. The "F" in FRxxx means it's Froyo (i.e. 2.2).

Hey Im planning to install ubuntu based on your thread I have downloaded the ubuntu.zip file and now I just want to confirm will it run perfectly on my Galaxy 3? Will it conflict in any way with my operating system? Will it function properly without any possible problem? And also which kernel can support loop devices? Please answer my question. Hope you reply soon. Thanx in advance.

when in android vnc server u need to give nick as root and pass as whatever u set
besides Ip localhost (127.0.0.1) and port 5901
and the color format should be 24color (4bpp) and it works awesome

resolution aint a problem
u have scaling option ... u can fit it to screen
or put it zoomable where u can float the full screen
well the android is running
ubuntu is in chroot mode
that is that android is running as usual and ubuntu is just running over it
that means its using the linux/ android /(marcellusbe's kernel)
for going back just hit the home key
and to go back go back to android vnc viewer (long press home key and select)
** this will work untill u have manually shutdown ubuntu from terminal emulator/adb or something

Hello I wanted to see if anyone would be able to provide the stock Samsung Keyboard from MJ9...the reason I want it is because it has autocorrect and I believe emoji support right? Any help would be great. I did search for it, but I couldn't find it.

This is a bump, but also a question. Would the stock keyboard from 4.3 MJ9 even work on MF3? Or would you need the new framework and potential systemui.apk and all that good stuff? Anyone know?
