can someone please help me find an arabic rom on legend that have connected arabic letters in the browser.
I also want her
use cyanogenmod 6.1 froyo 2.2.1 thats support arabic.
only has problem in browser that possible to use arabic browser for froyo.
except this it fully support arabic.

thanks it works perfectly and support full arabic except in the browser where the letters are disconnected.

Sorry guys, I did some digging and managed to install it, but have a problem with the arabic batch. doesn't install, it gives me an error message that the file should be updated!!! am I doing something wrong?

if your device is rooted the best i got is i added arabic fonts and then arabic keybord butttt the only thing is the letters are not connected if you are good with that i will help you

what i have for windows is a great cab that support everything in arabic
i just want you to back up every thing in your device befor install it
after install copy to your device or sd card
then install it to your device and thats about it
the device will restart and then the arabic will apeer and no problem happens
by the way you dont have to root the device for this at all
please let me know if it work

I tried adding the Arabic language through the program MoreLocal2 , but the words come intermittently disconnected

I tested all of method that use for desire. But no succes yet. but libskia.so libwebcore.so @ framework.jar should be modified. Ardoid site has modification for desire-z-hd and other device nothing for froyo legend with sense.

I do not think that there is a system update for the Middle East and found
It will be long a lot of time

I Have a rooted Motorola Defy , I tried nearly all roms none of them have arabic language , i tried to change fonts but still not working, so my question is, is there any way to add arabic to it, either by :
Roms supporting arabic
Arabic Fonts
SBF that has arabic (RSD Lite)

The Chinese ROM seems to display Arabic just fine.
I tried to flash it in sbf but after its done it tells me PASSED but it wont reboot or start up.. .. it just stays black screen
you have to use nandroid backup to flash it. there are few threads about this, research in the forums.
Can i get a link to the thread or at least the name of it?

use any of the 2.2 roms, barbones 1.3 for example. then follow this:

then your defy will read and write arabic just fine but not in the web browser.
one more thing, my Defy came with stock arabic ROM but it had 2.1
i kept a nandroid before i flash if your interested.

that's clearly not it. black screen usually means you are trying to downgrade.
if it stucks on the logo, then do a wipe might help.

Today I was able to download and install Swype for my Wildfire.
Previously I would normally get the message that your screen resolution is not supported.
So anyone who have already signed up for Swype beta can install a working official version of swype for Wildfire.

Please link anyway, I at least want to try and mess with it to get perhaps Dutch working ;-)
I ame a bit reluctant for using it, don't see how swype can be so good. But afther all does good comments I think I give it a try!

I was very skeptical about it aswell but when I started using it for a while it really gets faster to type and I cant miss it.
I have an older customized version with English and Dutch/French + few other languages that works with the Wildfire perfectly.
Downside the apps is 5 MB because of the languages.
