Hello everyone. My hd2 is just come back from the technical assistance. I had some freezing problems, then they changed my motherboard (after three shippings... but that's another story). The problem now is i have spl 3.03 but i would hspl2, so i can try android on nand and maybe windows phone7. I've read a lot of posts, can you confirm me the correct procedure to flash hspl2, please? From what i've understood the steps are:
1) Flash a stock rom via sd card taken from:

I've bought the phone in Italy so i think i'll have to flash:
HD2_RUU_Leo_HTC_ITA_1.66.408.1_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07_Ship.exe
2) Now i can flash hspl2.

You must downgrade your Rom to a Rom with an SPL 2.10 or lower in order to install HardSPL 2.08. Try to find a 1.48, 1.66 or 1.72 Rom from your carrier and flash via micro SD Card to downgrade the Rom and SPL, then install HardSPL 2.08 and flash a new Radio to meet the requirements for flashing Magldr. If you cant find a Stock Rom that will flash on your phone then goto *THIS* thread and read on how to create a GoldCard for your micro SD Card. With a GoldCard you will be able to flash ANY Stock Rom without problem.

I have flashed the latest stock ROM form HTC and I dounf that it has SPL 3.03.00
I tried to flash HSPL2 and HSPL3 but they gave me a message saying "Bad SPL version".
I tried to flash Task29 but it stuck in 0% for a very very very long time!!!
What can I do now? Any help?
I think I am stuck with it until another new HSPL version?

yes you must wait until the a new HSPL for the spl 3.03.00 come.
So you can flash with original stock rom with spl 2.08 and you can flash the HSPL 2.08.To permit you to flash any custom or stock rom ,but only for rom under or equal 2.08 spl .

Actually you do not have to wait for anything.
Just flash a previous version of the stock rom you have now and it will downgrade your SPL and the you can flash to HSPL.
plz help me ... when i flash winmo 6.5 back ,it error while in progress when enter bootloadter it said upgrade ROM code error ....thx in advance
Did you try flashing a cooked rom? if it does not work, flash with FlashaholicRUU v1.1. It will wipe your phone then install the rom.
Note: Flashing FlashaholicRUU v1.1 will remove Magldr so just reflash Magldr.

incorrect stock rom flashed over sd card whilst hspl is installed. hspl is now removed and the rom fails because hspl is gone.
enter bootloader
flash hspl
flash rom (usb)
next time use the correct stock rom.

Download Your Stock Rom.
If you have T-Mobile USA Go Here: www.tmobile.com/wmupgrade
If not find your stock rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283
Once you download your rom.
Find the Ruu_signed.nbh file, Rename to LEOIMG.nbh
Copy LEOIMG.nbh to your Micro SD Card Root Folder.
Turn off your HD2.
Hold Volume Down while pressing power on your HD2 Flash the File.
Release the buttons when you see the Bootloader or a Loading screen.
Press Power or ...... to flash.

What version of HSPL did you download and are trying to install. Is it HSPL 3 or HSPL 4, if you can provide this info or a link to where you downloaded thd HSPL this would be helpful. Also when you are trying to install it what version are you selecting to install 2.08 OSPL, 2.08 HSPL, 3.03 OSPL, or 3.03 HSPL. This would also be helpful.
hello, xda pros .... im having a little problem with my hd2 .... well, its because i can't remove my old HSPL and flash OSPL from my stock rom, because i want to install my windows mobile 6.5 (original rom). Does any of you, have idea how to help me with installing back my stock rom and OSPL. thx ... it would help a lot, because my phone is not working now
1) i tryed to take Ruu.signed.nbh file (and rename it to Leoimg.nbh) and when i enter my HSPL it starts to open that .nbh, but when it start to update it just pops the message 'Not allow'...

well ... i have HSPL 3.03. ... can you just tell me what to do to return my stock rom, maybe i was missdirected at the first place .. pls ?
Stanoye92 the easiest way to get back to stock ospl to hspl or hspl to ospl is to flash hspl3 by Cotulla http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6891358&postcount=1893 . If you want to go to stock rom via sd card follow this simple instructions:
1)Download Official Stock Rom to your computer
2)Extract the Official Stock Rom to a new folder
3)Copy RUU_Signed.nbh to your computer
4)Rename it to leoimg.nbh
5)Copy leoimg.nbh to your Root of your Sd Card
6)Power off device, insert the Sd Card
7)Press volume down button (hold it)and press power button
8)It will load into bootlader screen (red, blue, green and white)
9)Let go of volume down button when you see "loading..."
10)The rom upgrade screen will loaded
