Where is the "phone stays on when plugged in" button? - myTouch 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know I'm new but for the life of me I can't find where the option is to keep my screen on while my phone is charging! I found it on CM6 but no luck on CM7. Any body know?
Thanks!

[Q] Battery lag

Hey guys, so I'm an owner of a new MT4G, perm rooted, running Ice Glacier 1.1.6 with Smart Ass kernel. Everything's good but I've notice that my battery life stays at 100% for a long time, like maybe till noon and then starts dropping really fast and levels off to what looks like the current level. Have tried checking with Battery graph, but it didn't really help. Any ideas?
I saw the same on the CM7 build 34. You might want to check out a CM7 nightly 2 or later build.
I'm getting the same thing in Iced Glacier 1.1.6
Try whiping your battery stats from recovery.

That and also calibrate your battery for better results.

[Q] cm7 cell standby

can anyone tell how to get my cell standby down on cm7 right now its at 45% and phone idle at 39%.. is this too high?
Are you talking about the battery usage read out? If so, by using the phone will get the 'stand by' % down.
[via XDA app]
Yea I am and thanks
On this, are readouts on CM7 not as detailed as on sense UI?
I always only seem to have Display, Standby, and Android OS showing, where as rooted stock sense shows about 10 items.
No there not as sensitive

At least it isn't as bad as the Galaxy S which seem to just throw everything under "Display." LOL

G2 battery draining fast!!

Recently my G2 has been acting up. First problem is when I charge it to 100% and start using it, the battery is down to 0 in 2 hours. This has never happened before. So I charged it again and this time I powered it off because I was at work and didn't need to use it right away. I tried to power it on and the battery was drained when I had shut down my phone. This is with the Cyanogen and Gingervillian ROM. I have no clue what's going on.
Okay yea... There was somebody with the same issue. Also had that problem not to long ago. I found out it was the battery and I called T-Mobile and they sent me a new battery but that's my phone. So anyways have you tried to go back to stock?

I don't think it's the battery because I tried a second battery that I have as a backup and the same thing happened. I haven't tried going back to default yet though. Maybe I'll try that.

Try that do exactly as the app says and see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't go back to stock and then re-flash any ROM later.

Alright. If that doesn't help. Get a replacement

Is there any rouge apps open and draining CPU?

There shouldn't be. I put it back to factory and the same thing is happening. I've about given up on it.
I was having the same problem I fixed it on cyan 7.0.0...3 hours before battery even started to discharge.

Automatic power on after battery pull or normal power off.

im very confused...
im currently running ARHD 5.2 (was on leedroid before but didnt notice it then) and whenever i power off my phone or pull the battery after a few seconds it will power on again without me pressing any buttons.
the phone itself works fine but its just a bit annoying as i cant turn the phone off.
any ideas?
Thanks
Nathan
Had this issue a couple of weeks ago. I'm on cyanogen mod. Just leave the battery out over night

I had tha issue with Honeysense. I believe it is not ROM based issue.
It was so hard to get into recovery mode and it was only thing I needed because my phone was in endless loop during the boot. I can tell that I needed an third arm to put battery in, pres power button and vol down and put battery cover in place
I am having this exact same problem, have been having it for awhile but it wasn't too bad as I don't turn my phone off... This would be awesome to fix
Using ARHD 5.2.1
Not Rom issue as it happens on every Rom for me

Battery ?

Everyday my battery icon turns gray and a little exclamation mark comes out. When I plug the charger in it just blinks and after a while it begins to charge. Could it be a bad battery?

That's weIrd...have you had any battery life issues? And are you stock or rooted?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using xda premium
I'm rooted. My battery I guess has been fine. It dies quick though. I think I need a new battery... In every Rom I use I end up with the same thing.

I have seen this happen, however, its usually when my phone is plugged in. You see, I have 2 mt4g phones. I leave one plugged in, and when the battery gets low on the one I am using I will go to the one that is plugged in, and remove the battery to switch them, and while the phone is still plugged in, that grey icon will appear. I know it sounds weird but if I remove the battery from my phone while its plugged in, it stays on with that icon you are talking about. So possibly you may have a bad connection with your battery and phone.

Might be your charger but check your battery for bumps in the center if it has a bump its your battery
My charger is fine. I'm sure its the battery. My phone dies so quick
