I can't for the love of me find the bookmarks tab, and adding a webpage shortcut to home doesn't work. This is on SC 2.3. I think tjoa worked on dl30 but idk why it wont work now?

ok ....where you type the url ..there is a tab to the right of it...where "go"(i think) used to be ...tap that and it will go to bookmarks...

yea dont worry its facebooks fault they are coming with an update if you can just restore it for now i know it sucks can barely even use the app.. :-(

I dont have a link handy but what I did was just google "Facebook 1.5.2 apk" and downloaded from a file site. Probably not the safest thing ever, but I trust my e-instincts
1.5.3 is borked, so dont update it unless it's 1.5.4 (and the issues are fixed)

there you go. it should just install. i pulled it from my data/app folder. you will have to uninstall the update and the try to install. if it dont work then you will have to push it to the folder with adb or if you wait i can make a zip when im off work.

Yeah, I get fc's when I select: Profile, Friends, Messages, and the search magnifying glass and whenever I try to go to someones profile from the newsfeed. Highly disappointing :/

I went to play and video with playon and it said i needed to install Flash, which did not show up as being installed even though i could see flash in the browser. Hmmmmmm
Also where is the menu key. I only see the Back, Home and Search with a recent app keys
The settings/option button for <2.2 will show up at the end of that group in the lower left corner and the settings/options button for 3.0 apps will shows up in the top right corner.
Can you guys run xda developers website with the stock browser? Click the forum section and see it scrolls. Its really choppy.

its choppy as hell.... but this is also with an iphone 4 and the ipad 2...
switch to classic skin, this would make it better!
I was wondering if I could get a copy of some else's browser.apk from cm7 on the s2 as I seem to have broken mine when I restored bookmarks. Or if anyone knows how to remove the bookmarks file it would help me loads.

Did you try going to Settings, Applications, Manage applications, All, Browser and then click Clear data?

I know it was mentioned that xda app crashes on the iconia tab but this goes further. I can't access xda web site with browser too (can't find disable java ) and from my phone (epic) I don't see Q posts click-able underneath general post line like on pc, so from my tab can't access xda all.

Does it give any error messages?
FC only on the app and on web just shuts down, like I mentioned on my phone no Q&A line underneath general treads.

I have had the web close like that on me before, but never consistently for a single site, and never on XDA :/ try this:
Settings> applications> manage applications> all> browser> clear data. No guarantees, but maybe it will fix it.
I think he's talking about xda app. It's a known issue on the free app.
**My mistake I just re-read the the question... no idea why the browser would be crashing for you on xda. Dolphin, Opera and OEM all work for me.

Yeah, 3.01, 3.1, custom ROM, which browser, etc.
Latest upgrade .13 stock browser only on xda, and the app FC.

Just give up on the app :/ its broken. Force closing IS operating correctly for that app! As far as I'm concerned, if the browser works, this threads a success just read my signature

im not using the messnager cause its a mess for me
im browsing and then i have to go to another app no so comfortable
