HTC syn with GingerVillain 1.5 - G2 and Desire Z General

Hi,
I can't find the htc sync option (only mount USB storage) when i plug the phone into my computer. Is that normal?
Thanks,

Me too.Maybe, htc syn is just for htc RUU rom.

HTC Rom

Hi,
I have soft-rooted wildfire on 3 which is flashed to wildpuzzle 8.0.7
But I want to go back to a stock Rom but keep my phone debranded, what would be the best option or could someone recommend a alternative Rom?
Thanks for any help
Lee

If you goto shipped roms.com you can get a unbranded ruu Rom its listed under HTC buzz not wildfire put your phone into bootloader select usb boot then run the buzz ruu.exe and follow on screen instructions

Perm Root Method w/o HTC Sync??

Is there a perm. root method that doesn't involve using HTC Sync?
I'm rooted and have yet to install the HTC sync software...just follow the directions in one of the two rooting threads.
I had to install sync to get the drivers but if you already have them installed you're good

Yep same here. I couldn't find stand alone drivers at the time. HTC didn't have them listed and my Windows XP computer couldn't install drivers for my phone.

If you see anything about Recovery ignore it and download ROM Manager from the Market.

Wifi suddenly wont turn on.

So i've s-off'ed my Desire Z and been running a few different custom roms for the last couple of months.. Then suddenly yesterday Wifi wont turn on anymore (running CoreDroid). At first i thought it was the rom, so i flashed another rom (DoubleShot rom) but problem is still there !
When i go to settings to turn it on it just sits there for about 15 seconds.. After that i get the message "error" and then its turned off again
I thought i have read about this somewhere here, but i cant find the thread
Does anyone have suggestions to how i can fix it?
What i find really wierd is that since this started the part in the initial setup (after a rom is flashed) where you are to choose which wifi network to connect to .. That part is just not showing..

If i install the stock rom again would that also mean to reflash the radio ?
Sorry I don't have the Download links as I don't own this phone. Ussually the drivers can be installed by installing the Android sdk as well as HTC sync. And yes going back to stock meaning a ruu will reflash the radio. Good luck

[Q] HTC Sense UI crash

Hello everyone
Every time after my mytouch has boot up,i get an error which says that HTC Sense UI crashed.
This happens also after disconnecting my phone from the usb on my PC.
Another problem is that when I connect my phone to my PC,it is recognised but takes minutes to show up my memory card.
Can anyone please help me on these two issues?
