Hi,
I have soft-rooted wildfire on 3 which is flashed to wildpuzzle 8.0.7
But I want to go back to a stock Rom but keep my phone debranded, what would be the best option or could someone recommend a alternative Rom?
Thanks for any help
Lee

Haha! Well, it might help if there was actually a question in your first post
But in presuming you're looking to root it, check the Development topics, lots of ROM's to choose from, guides in there to follow on step by step instructions on how to do it.
I would suggest reading through those first before asking questions though as many people ask the same questions
Yeah im familiar with roms ect but i just wanted to no if his model was compatible with visionary thanks for help dude also its branded tmobile so would i make a goldcatd before or after rooting to debrand

yep it will, before you flash a custom rom though, you need to check out the 2 s-off tools in the developent section (Radio & ENG) after you root, run both of thoes tools from your pc, you can then use rom manager to install clockworkmod recovery, then your free to install all the custom roms you want
After you install Clockwork, don't forget to take a backup of your T-Mobile ROM just in case anything happens you can flash it back to stock.
Yeah cool guys so
1. Root with visionary.
2.Permroot
3. S.off ENG
4. Install rom manager and install clockwork.
5. Flash rom?

You should get radio s-off as well as eng s-off ng
Sent from my Desire HD pocket rocket.
Then you can go on dev boards and learn about radios and things like that, but that is the stuff that can brick you're phone as my friend recently found out with his desire HD, but if you follow instructions and don't unplug half way through :L you should be fine!
I no about radios and roms im a desire user just needed help sorting my bros dhd for him

even the leaked GB Mytouch RUU if in exe is welcome.
This shouldnt be in dev section. Anyway check this thread for panache leak-

I haven't seen that exe. There is a pd15img which you can flash through bootloader and it will overwrite everything (radio, bootloader, recovery, Rom etc).

but also i think it make you go from higher ver ROM to Lower version ROM unlike the bootloader type flashing as someone told me here you cant go back to lower version if u have no root or S-off.
(saying this cause i have done it in past on my windows mobile days.)
Anyone ever get this?
Really want the RUU EXE for the myTouch 4g
Not sure if this is the correct place but Can anyone help I've had this problem for a wile now, I cannot pull down notifications from the status bar so I've put it at the bottom for a quick fix. Also when I use keyboard in landscape, whitchever side is at the top, either q or p wont respond. I first noticed it on froyo 2.2.1,tryied factory reset didn't work.its the same with cm7 stable and nightly I'm now upgraded to cm7 #14. Dose many others have this problem? I wonder if its a hardware problem?

Try flashing an ruu to return to the stock firmware again if that doesn't work its probably hardware and you'll need a new digitiser.

Its been a long time since I was on a stock rom but I'm sure the top of the screen was not responding, it did work sometimes but more often it just wouldn't. Ill try flashing ruu thanks

Depends, you should try flash the safe ruus first, or download one, and remove the boot, recovery and radio

Flashing any RUU (Safe or an EXE) will not get your device back to S-ON. This procedure will:

I have same problem with top of the screen
Known Issue
Its an known issue with HTC Wildfire,
The issue with the touch screen, you have to get it changed, If you have warranty get it replaced if not it would cost you 2.5k to get it changed.
Once you change it you will not have an issue it seems HTC is aware and they just said its touch issues

That's the old froyo stock desire NAND ROM from DFT, the first NAND ROM for the HD2. You'll need to flash MAGLDR 1.13 (chances are you're on an old version since you have that ROM) followed by CWM (with the correct partition size) and a new ROM. Check the guide in my sig as for how to do this.
As for why it says the device is a desire, the build.prop in that ROM identifies the phone as a desire so that it's compatible with the Play Store.
so i insatalled device manager / htc sync manager and it does not detect my phone. Running windows 7
is there any way i can just go back to stock everything and i can jsut start over?

You don't need HTC Sync manager. If you want to start over from stock, just flash the stock RUU from the bootloader but I don't really see why you would. Personally, I'd just enter the bootloader, flash MAGLDR 1.13, flash CWM in USB Flasher mode in MAGLDR and then flash a new ROM in CWM.
