How to change CPU governor/speeds in 2 clicks
1) Download Widgetsoid & instal it
2) Click/tap on homescreen and choose widgets
3) on widgets, select Widgetsoid
4) select 1 x 4 (you can make it smaller later)
5) On the bottom bar, scroll to the right, and select "shortcuts" , then click "Applications"
6) Check "all activities." Then scroll down, and select "CPU" settings
7) Save it, and you'll have a widget that once you click it, it will take you to the CPU settings screen!!
You wont have to go to settings and all that. and you'll also skip the "Dragons Ahead Message"

So I have been looking for a solution to the problem that I always seem to have. I want to adjust the volume for say my ringer, but it changes it for my media, or something else.
I came across this, using Mini Info (free from market) and a LauncherPro (also free in market) activity

}
Long press on your home screen, choose Shortcuts, Activities, Mini Info, then choose the one that says: com.dynotes.miniinfo.VolumeControl
Choose a custom name or icon if you want.
Enjoy!
Solid tip thanks

Did you know, with the Cyanogen Mod 7 custom ROM, you can combine a static background image with the Nexus Live Wallpaper. It makes the look of your desktop very cool in deed (yes it consumes a bit more battery power, but still nice eye candy).
1) Menu> More> Wallpapers> No Wallpaper
2) Menu> More> Wallpapers> Cyanogen Wallpaper> Select and Set Wallpaper (so its now a static Wallpaper only)
3) Menu> More> Wallpapers> Live Wallpapers> Nexus> Settings> Background> Cyanogen (then go back one step via return key)
Now see the preview with two wallpapers together. Select Set Wallpaper.

Cyanogenmod is awsome!
I'll be short.
in XXCLK7 there is no lockscreen shortcuts settings.
Here is a workaround:
Download Apex Launcher or anapp that let's you create a shortcut to Activities like QuickShortcutMaker (great for searching and using Touchwiz, not Apex).
If using Apex:
Create Shortcut --> Activities --> Settings --> com.android.settings.lockscreenshortcut.LockScreenShortcutSettings (pretty much at the end of Settings activities)
If using QuickShortcutMaker:
Open QuickShortcutMaker
Tap at the top (Incremental Search) and select Normal Search
Search for "Shortcuts" or the translation word in your language.
It is "Definir accesos directos" in Spanish.
In English is probably "Set shortcuts"
Don't forget to enable the toggle at the top right corner!
Enjoy! I hope nobody posted this or I'll look like a fool
Pics: (no screenshot in lockscreen. I just made 2 pictures with the phone)

SOLVED: Only works with Touchwiz Launcher.
Does anybody know how to enable the motion wallpaper feature?
For some reason it does not show for me (Phone is Exynos 8890 version - Canadian).

How are you accessing the wallpaper, I just press and hold the home page and select wallpapers then the toggle switch appears along with where to select the wallpaper

Click to collapse
Figured it out.
Seems to only work with Touchwiz launcher.
Anybody figured out how to view your past or accidentally lost notifications? On other phones you would make a settings shortcut widget for notification history but I don't see that option on this phone. Help?
Late reply i know but i was able to get notification log open on my ZTE Axon 7
First you need Nova Launcher (or something that allows you to shortcut "activities")
Create a widget
Select "Activities" under the nova launcher section and drag it to your home screen
another window will popup, scroll down to Settings
then scroll down to "Notification Log"
and it should look something like this when you open it
