The internal sd terjeta was unexpectedly removed - Galaxy S I9000 General

"Sorry but this is a translation"
I have a galaxy s free i9000 yoigo Spain with 3 weeks.
for that, I get on the notification bar "internal sd card is removed unexpectedly. "
I know that the internal sd can not be removed, is moviNAND. But that's what it says.
Began to crash and thought it was cooked with the rom and install the JPU lagfix clean installs fine and works well but when you leave half an hour without the use of standby when you want to use you give to the power button stays lit I black screen and the lights on or get "internal sd card is removed unexpectedly" and not let you enter into any application and when you restart the home screen as corecien installed this rom, eg an icon on the left Home screen and then are all over, but if you've installed any application icon leaves the screen (which remains as newly installed) but remains in applications.
I tried many roms com JPU, jpy, JS3, JS5, darky simpre `s etc and do even more.
I tried to lagfix ext4 JPU and the same.
I changed the kernel speedmod and the same.
I entered the recovery when this happens and if I try to run the update.zip out "E: Can not mount / dev/block/mmcblk0p1. "
Anyone have any idea that can be and how to fix it.
Thank you very much

help please

It seems like the internal "sd" is defective or something.

thanks, it is not software? is there any way to check the internal sd?

anyone can help me, any application to check android internal sd

Try checking if the sdcard is busted, plug it in another phone if you still have problems then it's the card.

A few apps think SD card missing, full, and/or empty.

Recently found the "Recent Documents" showing nothing but black screen with "SD card is full or missing". Searched, and found just a few threads with a few fixes that didn't work. Lived with it, as I don't really use it. Today, I noticed "Settings>SD card and phone storage" shows 0.00 MB for Total, used, and Free SD card memory, when it's actually not quite half full right now (16g TMOUS version).
Testing just now, the camera is set to SD card for storage, but still puts the pics in \App. Data\HTC\HTC Album.
The SD card still works fine, everything is there, and other apps can use it fine. Resco properly shows total/used/free sizing. All apps on the card also work fine. 1st WinMo phone, so still learning things, and not entirely sure whats Sense and what isn't, but so far I think it's sense related only?
I did delete a bunch of sizable image cache files assuming they'd be recreated, which they did for everything I've checked that's not on the sd card.
No ideas?
hi, i have exactly the same problem. i already wrote a text to post in forums because i cant find anything on the internet about this problem.
my text: said:
im using different anja31 roms (Back to the roots FT2 base 161 / Next Generation 202 / and actually One Step Further 6.5.x) and have a strange effect with sense and my sdcard on all of them (not sure if i had this with 1.48 stockrom i used before). somtimes when i do a softreset, something went terribly wrong with manila. when you go to the settings tab and choose 'sdcard and phone storage', the sdcard is shown with 0.00mb at all/used/free. normaly it shows the amounts or if there is no card inserted it shows a text about that (see the attached pictures).
when i use the tool supplied by microsoft the correct amounts of the card is shown, also 99.9% of all programms have normal access to the sdcard. the only exceptions i found are the build in voicerecorder and the document tab. when my device is in that '0.00mb' state both programms refuse to work because there is no space on the card.
till now i tried to:
- take out and back in the card.
- softreset with/without card inserted.
- take out and back in the battery with/without card inserted.
- hardreset and restore a backup, (this only helps if the error was not already present at the time the backup is taken).
non of this helps, the card still shows 0.00mb in the manila settings, its like manila/sense refuse to read the card parameters again and use the old one over again and again. the only way to recover at the moment is to hardreset and hope that the last backup dosent have the bug already in. because if so i have to step back in my backup history and take older snapshots. i use sktools for backups.
does anybody else have this strange phenomenon? i think about using a different rom like artemis or ride the tube, but i dont want to make everything new from scratch (i never use backups when doing a rom change, to prevent side effects) only to discover the same problem again.

finaly (and because anja stopped rom developing) i gave up on this, and change to a ride the tube rom. the problem is not showing again, but this have nothing to say because the other roms are working for weeks without problems and then suddenly showup the error.
sorry that i cant help you, its more saying 'you are not alone'.
regards mad
ps. the first tow screenshoots show the 'normal' display with/without a card inserted. the third shows how it looks when the error came up, regardless if a card is inserted or not.
*EDIT:21.04.09* the rom has nothing to do wiht it. i could reproduce the problem 2 times, with the new installed rtt rtm3 rom. first time i disable/enable sense under the todayplugin settings to restart it. the result was a crash of sense and after a soft reset the sdcard shows 0.00mb. the second time i installed jetcetprint and worldcard mobile from a cab, after a softreset the sdcard was gone again.
SD Card is full or Missing - SOLVED
1. Delete the folder - Storage card\Application Data
2. Tab again the document tab - wait re-loading until finish searching all documents
3. Successful!

[Q] Sorry! The application stopped unexpected.

I recently installed Android on my phone.
And now I am getting an error if I run a application. ( This does not happen with all applications. )
The error I am getting is:
Slice It! ( Game I downloaded from the Android Market. )
-----
Sorry!
The application Slice It!( procescom.com2us.sliceit ) has stopped unexpected.
Try Again.
-----
This also happens with other apps.
I have found a fix for this error and that is to move the app from my SDcard to my phone.
But some apps on my SDcard work so I was wondering is there a fix for this so I can put all apps on my SDcard so that my phone's internal storage does not get full.

Info op my phone:
HTC HD2
Android 2.3.2
MDJ's CyanogenMod 7 (v. 2.6) A2SD+
Is there something I could not explain well or is it something else?
Anyone???
Maybe some apps moved to SD card, look in application settings.
If they did, just move them back to phone ;-P
Please Help!
I just started having issues like this myself. Seems like half my apps give me an error. Doesn't matter if they're on phone or sd. Started after I put in a different sd with a new android rom in it. Ginger _bread. But it would get stuck after some cyanogen mod7 animation would finish followed by an option box asking to click to install by com.android....or some other option. Either way it would just freeze on that screen. So installed my other sd card with darkstone froyo 2.2. First thing it did was asking me to tap on android to get started. Did so and skipped all the other prompts. Then it continued to load all my apps as normal but with the exception that a lot of the apps where giving me pop up errors asking to force close them. Its driving me mucking cuts! Should I reformat my sd and start from scratch? Sorry for the long explanation. Thanks in advance.

The only problem if I do that is that the internal storage of my phone gets full.
And after a while I get messaged like "Internal Storage full".
Is there maybe a way to give the internal storage a bigger capacity?

[Q] Frequent reboot after installing new apps

My nook color stays not much longer than 1min after loading all the apps & just after that it reboots. I've tried installing a fresh rom couple of times & wiping each & everything but just after installing all the apps again, it reboots. Have tried both by installing it manually & restoring through titanium backup as well, but same result. It works fine only when I remove my micro sd. I know that some apps doesn't works when installing in micro sd & that's why I've installed all my apps in internal memory. I never faced that issue when I was using Phiremod v6.3 build. Recently after moving into the latest nightly build, this issue occurred. Please tell me how can I resolve this issue? I've been trying to find the solution from so many days but couldn't able to find. Thanks
You could use ROM Manager to restore the last ROM if you did a backup or just reinstall it. I am a little confused about what you mean by loading all the apps. Apps are generally loaded as you use them, not at boot up. When you first boot up you can usually see the SD card icon at the bottom of the screen before it gets mounted. It is possible the card got corrupted. If you don't have anything on it but app backups and it works fine when the card is out you could try reformatting the card on your PC or with a camera that uses micro SDHC cards.
You also might have a misbehaving app loading on startup.
When I first boot the system, the sd card icon shows at the bottom of the screen & disappears after loading all the games from it. After that I can see all my apps & games in app drawer but after a min, it gets reboot. I only have games in sd card, not a single app & neither any app in my internal memory which loads at startup.
Well if the nook boots and runs just fine without the SD-card inserted, then we can be pretty certain that something on the card is messed up. Lot's of possibilities: Corrupted .apk file, partially corrupted file structure on the SD-card itself, Hell it could also be auto-update panicking because it's trying to update an app that has yet to load off the SD-card.
First thing I would try is formatting the SD-card within CM7.
Also try turning off auto-update
If that fails, connect the SD-card to your computer and scan it with windows to check for any file table corruption.
If that fails, it's hard times ahead for you. You'll have to go through the apps one-by-one to see which one is being the little bastard.
Good luck.
Thanx for The help. But all I have on my SD card is just game. Before installing anything on my internal memory, I restored my games backup 1st to my SD card through titanium backup. It was then working absolutely fine. After that I installed apps manually just to see which app is causung error. But all were installed without any problem, used for a while then I manually reboot. Since then I am getting this issue.

Galaxy I9000 dead black screen , plz help

phone model : I9000
Original condition : was working ok but doesn't read internal or external memory
Present condition : phone doesn't boot , always black screen Look here
Original firmware: unknown " for sure it was froyo 2.2 "
i've tried to flash it with lots of firmwares with Odin and no luck
can someone plz help me
thanks alot
Is download mode working ?
Hi,
If you've flashed with ODIN I'm assuming you've tried to get into download mode and that still works - but whatever ROM you flash, you get stuck at the black screen after the Samsung Logo and the Samsung animation.
How do you know it doesn't read from the SD memory?
Can you try mounting the SD memory from inside CWM and try reading? (Bear in mind some CWM version do not support mounting SD memory for USB reading)
i had the same problem as you on 2.2.1, just install new firmware and everything will be ok.
To Enter Recovery Mode:
Switch your phone off. Wait until vibrate
Now Press and HOLD the following Keys in the same order: First Volume UP, Second Home Key, and Lastly The Power Button.
Keep the Buttons Held until you see the phone Light up, then Let go off the power button, but keep the Volume and Home Keys Pressed.
Once you see a menu with the caption Recovery Mode on the Top let go of all the buttons.
after hard reset everything will work fine, after that install new firware with odin or kies (since you are on 2.2)

the phone was working when it came to me and it reads internal memory 0.0 and external SD memory didn't read it at all .
i guess you mean by CWM is to use clock work mod , the phone now doesn't boot to cwm recovery mode , it boots to samsung recovery mode only and download mode .

thank you all for help and plz share with me a solution

Have you tried flash phone with full (3 part) rom + pit file?
Firstly, I think ke_be's suggestion is spot on; give that a try.
But,
the phone was working when it came to me and it reads internal memory 0.0 and external SD memory didn't read it at all .

I'm not sure how to read this - do you mean the external SD memory (which to avoid confusion is the SD card that you can put into the phone physically rather than the internal partition called sd_ext) was not readable from the beginning?
Also - does ODIN give any warnings at all or does it always say "Success!" and then reboot?
Becuase it sounds like it thinks it's flashing the image properly but in fact it is not which could very well be symptomatic of memory read/write problems.
(It's difficult to tell without DMESG!)

i've tried kebe's and flashed many many flashes 3 parts + PIT file same result
what i meant is the external SD memory which i insert in phone under the battery cover , this one the phone does not recognise at all , also the internal partition which is originally comes inside phone from samsung also was not readable , when i go to setting storage it was 0.0 MB , or something like that .
Odin does not give any errors and always it success flashing and reboot
and what is DMESG! ?
thank you for your help
Hi there,
Ok - well I think that as the phone couldn't read the Internal or External SD memory when you got it that despite it appearing to be semi-functional, it was essentially broken!
The internal SD memory was clearly able to be read as the kernel and android is stored on it (the /system directory for example). So the question is - why were the SD_EXT directory and the external SD directory not readable and indeed do these issues have a bearing on the inability to start the phone!
Well.. both sd_Ext and external_sd are using the VFAT filesystem which is different from the rest of the mountpoints which use RFS or EXT or the like. (It's so Windoze can access it) So I wonder if somehow the driver that accessed that has a problem.. though there's not much we can do about that..
Also - when a new ROM is flashed, it doesn't actually do much with sd_ext an external_sd so that's also curious... I'm wondering if there is a "write" error on the phone's memory interface.
So - to check that - find a rom which has CWM and USB Mounting working in it (most GB roms have this) and flash it using ODIN but do not boot into it. Instead, try to get into CWM and then mount the USB storage from the Mounts menu option and try to write a file to it.
Indeed, if you are able to flash a new kernel or bootloader that implies it does NOT have a memory write problem! But it serves a purpose becuase it'll be useful having CWM on there rather than the Samsung recovery menu.
Essay over!
BTW DMESG is a little linux prog which displays the kernel output - it would probably show us some info about what's stopping the boot but I don't know how to view it prior to a ROM successfully booting - if someone does that'd help a lot.

wow , dude seriously thank you for your effort ,
i dont know much in linux and also on samsung hardware and software ways ,
but i love the idea you said about CWM rom ,
so what is that GB roms ? and where to find them ? noob questions i know , but i really i'm new to samsung android stuff .
with best regards,
Ok not to worry.
To test if you have CWM (clockworkmod) :
Turn off your phone
Hold down the UP volume button and the HOME button on your phone
Now, whilst keeping those two buttons held down, turn on the phone.
When you see the Samsung logo on there, you can release all the buttons.
If it says "2e" or "3e" recovery - you DO NOT have CWM so you'll need to get it. Otherwise you do have it - let me know.
If you don't have it:
Use this link to Ramad's Firmware Collection to get yourself a copy of the ODIN package for JVT (imo the best GB rom) and flash it to your phone (using ODIN!).
Then you should have ClockworkMod installed.
Let me know how you get on / any questions.

[Q] Phone flashing itself.

I thought i will have no problems now and nothing will suprise me with my HTC, but of course i was wrong =)
As i solved my last problem with Google Play, now once my phone weirdly rebooted by itself, and when i loaded android it looked like it flashed itself cause i had Menu as i flash rom to set language and stuff.
I was like "wut.." but ok, i set my phone again, and then it started to download all apps i had before, but every dll ended up with an instant error
"There is insufficient space on the device."
I also looked at the App settings, selected All and huh, Internal Storage status bar was all grey with no info how much space is left.
I downloaded ROM (tytung's 4.2.2 ..) again through my phone, and tried to flash it again, but it said i have no EXT space, so i had to wipe my SD card in CWM and create 1gb ext partition.
Then it was all good, i downloaded all my apps without any problem and i was happy, but next day it was same thing, it rebooted with Setting Language Screen and afterall i have no storage. Now downloading tytung's ROM again to flash it...
Seem like an endless fun :crying:
Any solutions?
PS. I am on holidays, and i have no connection with PC, only phone + web.
#EDIT
Oh, when i try to flash ROM i get an error:
Code:
Mounting SD-EXT failed!
Please Create an EXT4 partition
(mmcblk0p2) on the SD Card First
Error Messages:
mount: mounting /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 on /NativeSD failed: Invalid Argument"
Making partition will help, but i bet that tomorrow i will have the same situation...
I was going to suggest changing the SD card. Or it could be the same problem with robbie, try to remove the sd card and clean the contacts on the sd, and clean the slot of the phone if possible.

Thanks, i just caught myself that last time i partitioned EXT i set swap to 32mb or sth, and it should be 0 ofc, will see if that will or won't help, then i will try with sd card.
#EDIT, yay, it's stuck on green HTC logo now!
#EDIT2: couldnt stand this, deleted everything, gonna hard reset or wait till i get usb to install new rom ... anyway phone useless for now.
