Simplifymedia like streaming Software

Hi all,
I'm looking for a software like simplifymedia for Iphone. That means that I'm looking for a software that permit to listen to music which is stored in my personal computer. It would be great to be able to watch the video too but music is more important.
Somebody has a solution?

I will respond to myself. I found Orb, but the client is a site to be used with IE, and is not very user-friendly. A dedicated application would be better.
Anybody know an other solution?

Kinoma how to start to use it
I downloaded the Kinoma Freeplay (do I need the full version : Kinoma play), I've installed it, and I lunch it, it ask for a product registration. I was thinking that the Freeplay version was free?

Simplify Media?
The closest thing to Simplify Media I've found is didiom for windows mobile or blackberry. didiom.com for more info

Just install Network plugins 1.0

Then Map your music folder under Start-> Settings -> connections -> Network plugin
The maped folder will be in something like \network\"Computer Name"\"Music Folder"\
I use Core Player to stream the music

Connect HTC Sense MP to WMPM

Hey guys, quick question. I have the TMOUS HD2 and I was wondering if there is a way to connect the HTC Sense default music player to the stock Windows Mobile one. I ask this because when I workout, I enjoy using the MSVC voice control feature of the media player, but when I activate it from my BT headset, it says "No Media Found". I know i can deal with WMP, but it a hassle to keep updating the library, every-time I put a couple of new songs on the device, and I do prefer the look of the Sense media player. So I was wondering if anyone else knows of a program or reg edit to connect the 2 together.

What you might want to try is called themobilestreamcenter.com. It is a site with every radio station in the usa. Listed by state to state. Just click and and it will open in media player. just look for media player compadible lists. for other player formats to play, download the tcpmp revised player. good luck.

Skyfire browser will make it work for you...
Also, as a side note; I like last.fm due to Xbox integration but man do I love Slacker Radio for WM.

[Q] Playlist audio streaming

Hi all,
I am trying to make an app for my friends online radio station (he already has a basic iPhone App and i don't want Android to be ignored again) but the audio is pushed out of the shoutcast server as a playlist - which Android's media api doesn't seem to support.
despite that i have generic online radio player apps on my android phone that plays his station happily!
does anybody know what trick i need to pull to get Android to play playlist streams?
any help and advice would be greatly appeciated

[Q] Change media player on WinCE 6.0 Car radio

Hello all,
I have bought a car radio working with windows CE 6.0. It's working well and there is a music player which can works while IGO is running; the player is include on the car radio. But it's an awful and non ergonomic thing, let you see : Impossible to have subfolders and ID3 sort.
Sure, I can replace the GPS app, IGO .exe by a loader( Myboot ) and launch a better player, as Nitrogen. But I will lose the music while GPS is running....
I want replace the music app which is launched when you press USB or SD on the screen (or press the "SRC' button) by another, a better one.
I think with windows CE the button for next & previous music will work, and same with the multitasking (GPS+Music for example)
Do you know if i can replace the original app by another ? Using WinCEPatch ?

Can you do it? How?
