[REQUEST] STOCK Rogers 2.1 ROM - XPERIA X10 General

Hey guys I have to send my phone back to Rogers because the USB connector ****ed up on me so theyre sending me a replacement, but i need to flash the stock Rogers rom back on before i send it in.
Does anyone have the Stock Rogers 2.1 ROM? OR can someone direct me to where i can get it?
Thanks in advance.

How are you going to flash it if your usb connector is f-ed up?
Annyway, if you can't find the stock Rogers 2.1 ROM, I'd say try the 1.6 ROM and then update it

i dont need to use the usb connector to upload the rom, i can try and make it into an xrecovery installer, and then upload it to my phone thru my dropbox..
is it possible to convert the files into a xrecovery zip?
or i can find an existing file out there of a rogers branded stock/light mod 1.6 or 2.1 rom

I'm sure there's atleast a 1.6 Rogers ROM, I remember flashing to it when 2.1 came out so that I could update

I've got them uploaded from my multi-firmware pack back from November.
It's got 1.6 and 2.1 (Rogers).
Download it in the description of the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85-WbEupcyg&hd=1 (There are two parts.)

I pm'd you about a possible solution.

ok so i got my replacement, did an adb pull /system and got all the files (im actually trying to find where adb put them lol)
but how can i go about flashing these files back to my old phone? can i do something like adb push /system ?

nvm actually i think im just gonna end up flashing the 1.6 decrpyted rom with flashtool
that should give me back the stock rogers 1.6 and no root..
is there any way to remove xrecovery? just delete the sd card files?
EDIT: SOLVED, FLASHED THE 1.6 FW AND EVERYTHING WORKED AS PLANNED
thanks for everyones help...

Ok, so I want to update...

Ok, so I want to update to 1.6 aka "Donut", and as you may notice by looking at my signature. I have a Rooted MT3G, do I need to un-root my MT3G first? or can I update while my MT3G is rooted?

you can just flash the 1.6 ota just like you would a rom.... update.zip
this is the the plain 1.6 (donut) rom
http://developer.htc.com/google-io-device.html
there are also a ton of cooked 1.6 roms in the dev section if you wanna go that route
You'll need to wipe going from Cupcake to Donut so it doesn't really matter whether you have Root or not.
If you just want plain Donut, use that link above.
If you want Donut with root, use nk02's ROM.
If you want Donut with tether, apps2sd and all that stuff there are a few ROMs around now. Check out Amon_RA's Donut or Dwang's Donut ROM.
Of course, fastboot Amon_RA's Recovery to perform a nandroid backup of your stock phone (incase you ever have to send it in for warranty) and to flash the new zip.
Ok, so I used the guide here and every time I tried to install the 1.6 update. It said no signature found, the only reason I can think of this is because I have a ROM file named "update".
Can I delete the ROM file off my myTouch once I installed it or do I need to keep it there so the ROM would keep working?
Can anyone explain why the 1.6 update isn't working for me?
Thank you.

It is the exact same process as you did to your hero rom. It looks like you already did the 1 touch root so simply turn on phone and then mount phone via cable and transfer the file and rename it "update.zip". After that, disconnect the cable and turn off the phone and then hold the home + power button. Wipe the data and then install the update like you did before and voila, you're done.
To see it all in a video, I believe I followed this when I did it

check out this link bro.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=CDMA Hero ROMs
i found it in a the roms sticky wiki
You need to RUU. That restores the stock ROM, deletes Amon RA, and destroys evidence of rooting it. Only works on windows.
Just flash the sprint RUU.

i tried it but keep getting a usb error can you help ??
You need to copy the ADB.exe from the Android SDK over to the RUU folder.
Or you can install HTC Sync... that also fixes the USB error. However, ADB.exe in the RUU folder would be quicker.
ok iGot the usb drivers for android but after the RUU.exe finishes running my phone continues to boot the custome rom instead of stock Sprint rom

Noob needs to unroot to stock version CDMA SPRINT HERO

If you ran the 2.1 ruu.exe then follow this link to restore everything except your hboot.
If you did not run the 2.1 ruu.exe then you can still run the 1.56 ruu successfully. Fresh is sharing it here.

I had installed the 2.1 ruu.exe test build and was able to root the phone fine and install the amon ra 1.6.2 bootloader. You do have to manually push flash_image to your phone to do this, but otherwise this root guide (but used the 1.6.2 recovery) works fine.
If you need flash_image to root your 2.1 ruu.exe build I am attaching it with a .zip suffix (it is not a zip) Download it here then push it to your phone using the commands below then follow the root guide I linked.
Code:
adb remount
adb push flash_image.zip /system/bin/flash_image
Im gonna level with you im such a noob is there any way or a video that can break this down, also i heard it doesnt really bring it back to full factory settings, is it true? and if so is the anything that i can do to be able bring it back to full factory settings

help! i'm stuck! (with generic 2.1)

Hi, i have a problem, I need some help solving it.
I have branded Hero (G2 Touch) on T-Mobile. Being tired of waiting for T-Mobile to release their branded 2.1, I followed some instruction on this board and installed generic 2.1. Sadly, the instruction used the RUU for directly installing 2.1 and I did this^^
When I try to install an old 1.5 RUU (t-mobile or generic) I always get the error 140 bootloader version.
I then tried the rooting method, now I managed to install the Amon Ra's Hero Recovery and that works quite good, as I now can use nandroid again (I couldn't do since the 2.73 update).
I managed to restore some backups that were on 1.76, and I had android 1.5 installed again, but still I couldn't install the 2.73 RUU, still getting the bootloader error.
Now, either somebody can tell me how to install the RUU, so I can get back to original t-mobile ROMs and can use OTA to get from 2.73 to android 2.1,
or, somebody could send me a nandroid backup with 2.73 installed.
there might be another possibility: I extracted the rom.zip from the T-mobile 2.73 RUU and tried installing it via recovery... I got an error while opening the file (bad).
has anybody an idea how to solve my problem? pls don't tell me 'install custom roms' i heard that often enough and simply don't want to (though I might give it a try as soon as working sense 2.2 ROMs are ready)... i want to get back to official T-Mobile ROMs
thanks

You'll need to use this guide (http://villainrom.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=375) to make a goldcard, and downgrade using the HEROIMG.zip method (google it)
it doesn't work... I took the rom.zip, renamed it HEROIMG.zip and put it on my sdcard.
hboot finds it, loads it and then says "Main Version is older! Update Fail! Do you want to reboot device?"
what can I do now?
Have you checked to see if your goldcard has definitely worked?
it definitively is a goldcard, as I used it to install generic ROM on T-Mob device... still doesn't work now... but the problem is not that I try to install a ROM that's not meant for my device (thats what I understood goldcard does), but the problem seems to bee the bootloader-version the 2.1 RUU brought.
what can I do now?
Same thing happened t me a while back, I just re-tried every step from scratch and it worked the third time...!
what exactly did you do then? I tried so many things, at least I want to know, which steps to repeat over and over again
Just going to have a look at it for you, I am going through the processes as we speak so if I find a solution I will post back.

CANT update my stock rom, had custom rom before, HTC desire HD

Hello, i recoverd my HTC desire HD with clock work mod, i had my original rom backup since before so it was easy. Now my phone have this info in it:
Android 2.2
1.32.405.6
12.54.60.25U_26.09.04.11_M2
When iam trying to update the ORIGINAL rom i get instantly a triangle with a "!" sign in it and nothing happens, whys that?
I have searched for some hours but no info on it, can it be becasue i might be rooted?
Updates will not work as you have modified the system partition.
If you find a suitable RUU to flash, this will revert the modifications and allow you to update.

Aha, okey then i need to read about RUU then i guess. Any good link for me? or ill just google, thanks!
Just search "RUU" in the DHD development forum. You should find a post by xmoo or football.
I took a original RUU and stil i cant update, anything more left that i missed? I mean i had original backup and everything before i took a custom room, is the impossible or what...
What did you do with the RUU? Did you run the ~.exe file?
I saw a thing now, i update RUU with a file size 10mb, file name was 1.32.406 something, is this only a OTA? I think i didnt get a RUU, iam abit confused ot the diffrent. Found a file now sayin RUU_ace_HTC... that is a big file, so i rename this to PD98IMG when i update?
The RUU should be atleast 200MB+ Its not an OTA. Its a complete package.
RUU = ROM Update Utility. You will need the one that matches you current firmware 1.32.405.x. Download it and run the ~.exe file. It will guide you through the process.
Thanks man for the help, i sorted it out and found a new RUU, the last one was an update or something weird =S. AFter som HTC sync problem finally it was solved, have been workin on this problem for a couple and month back and fourth to just get to original rom.

You could just flash this one made by Nitr00 and should get updates, should there even be any anymore, again.
