Where go i get a replacement for my led flash lense? Unsure how or why but this morning I discover my lense shattered when it was perfectly fine the night before. Possibly heat from aussie summer?

I bought an 1800mah battery from eBay and its slightly larger then the stock. My back door snaps shutters minus one corner (its had a faulty corner clip since I got it) should I worry about my door popping off while in my case? Would that be bad at all?

Never mind the battery temp didn't work so I took it out because I'm worried about it over heating

I just dropped my wildfire and now it has a weird mark on its screen, Ive rooted it and I' running Cyanogen so i think my warranty is void.
It looks like some kind of watermark in the center of the screen
Please look at the attached image and give me any suggestions of what it could be and how to fix it.
Its about to give up from what it seems. The best bet in my view will be to change the screen. Since this comes under accidental damage, I am pretty sure it is not covered under warranty anyway, but, if you wish to try your luck, Unroot your phone by flashing a RUU from Shipped ROM's which will give you your stock, unrooted phone back.

what would putting it in rice do?
Dry out the water. Rice is said to emit heat when stored due to which it is also used to ripen fruits.
see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8-0ugigDKs for why
Ok, my story. I`ve dropped my phone on the floor about 2 months ago. After that there were stucked pixels on the screen. I`ve run JScreenFix to try to fix them, but in result i`ve got more stuck pixels + some black stripes. Anyway I was running that JScreenFix software just to checkout what will happen next and unfortunately while phone was running program i`ve put it on external hdd with the screen on the bottom. As result i got less those stuck pixels and stripes, so i`ve decided to put my phone on the radiator and run software. After some hours my screen was like new and still it is
Happy end
I hope that my solution will help.
Or you could do a pixel massage

How long did it take for your light to go out? My defy has been showing a dull red glow now for just over a week, and that's regardless of weather our not the phone is on or off, when the phone is powered down the dull red glow is still there.
the only way to stop it is to remove the battery.
Odd. Didn't.notice prob a week.or so. Sorry to hear bout it. Try.leaving the batt off for a few.ours

8 months on and the red light is still constantly on, all be it a very dim glow even when the phne is off, it comes on as soon as a battery is inserted. All from dropping the phone into a muddy puddle, with all covers on/sealed.
appart form that all is working well.

So has anyone else LED turned blue? Mine is really, really blue.

Iirc the n1 has a teal blue led as well as a dark blue one. What seems to be the issue?
sent from the passengers side of my best friend's ride tryna holla at you.
Its the camera flash LED. It used to be pure white. The one day I noticed it had turned blue. Pictures taken with the flash on a blue washed if you will. That's the only minor issue. It doesn't bother me much. Just curious to see if anyone else's had done the same.

oohhh the camera flash LED i though you were talking about the led ball on the front side of the phone haha.
so when the flash activates for a picture, instead of flashing white it flashes a blue-ish light now? i havent experienced that issue personally myself, sorry
Yeah it flashes blue and in a darkish area when taking pictures it causes the pictures to come out bluish. Like I said, just curious if I'm the only one or if it is something others are experiencing. Doesn't bother me too much.

My Desire is the same now. I blame it on me using the flashlight on Death ray mode too often. I assume its half burned out.

Lol! That makes sense I do the same.

Rarely use it as a flashlight; instead I use a bright screen via 'Color Flashlight' app. Mine is still white.

Well I found it hard not to use it since it is better than any flashlight I have owned and didn't drain the battery much for the amount I was using it. Better than worrying if your flashlight battery is going to die (no gauge on them)

Abuse the led and it will start dying, big surprise. I suspect walmart has better flashlights than the N1's led, but any decent flashlight will kill it on both flexibility (low to full output), battery life, and of course output.
Look up Fenix. Cheap, work well. Get a 10 pack of 123 batteries online for $15 and it'll last you 5 years or more.
I find the camera always worked better in well lit areas without use of the flash anyways so I don't blame the phone for the led burning out and it doesn't bother me that much. At least it still works.

Lol yeah same here. I got me a surefire 1000 lumen led flashlight now. Brighter than anything I've ever seen. But the blue led looks cool on my Nexus lol.
Sent from my Nexus One using xda premium
After using it for a while and after the LED gets hot, its color will distort. It is a problem with the bulb itself and not any other hardware, such as the plastic piece that covers it. It is a result of age; therefore, there is no way to 'fix' the issue other than just to finally upgrade to a new device or replace the bulb if even possible.
I use my LED flash as a flashlight at max brightness and mine still is not blue yet, wonder why mines seems to be more durable...
Had a cracked screen but while touch didn't function the screen was still on/visible. Left the phone and went to my back up until the replacement came in.
My replacement screen arrived and when I took it to be replaced the tech powered the phone on and while the led lit up the screen never powered on/. Got a call after the screen was replaced and the screen still doesn't light up.
Could the battery be drained enough over the course off a week to cause this issue?
Any other ideas what it could be?
TIA
