im no one special i just see tons of post by this guy disrupting the community and i am no dev but eithier is this guy but he claims to be and spams our community with multiple accounts he is nothing but trouble
people like this are the reason xda has been slowly receeding from the android community as a creditable source that is sad because we have a lot of talent floating around here and there used to be productive convos on this forum

Im not supporting this person doing this **** but try to understand this is for android development of the droid x not some kind of blog

Well Im going to be blunt about this He is a sick **** that likes getting his kicks off by posting fake threads, he is a dumb ass, a lier, and a ****. But even if he gets baned and he will because he has got baned before he will make a new screen name and do it all over again

It is pretty pathetic that his posts go to such an extent that he even puts lengthy changelogs for roms he never even makes.
I think we should all cut him a break and let him stay. I feel kinda bad for a kid thats got nothing else to do. I mean come on, its got to be really bad for him if thats what he calls fun. So sad....Im actually gonna cry a bit. Nevermind I got over it.

what about my post history ok i have said some stupid things not understanding (Efuse) but i admit i dont understand and i take the things that people say and learn from them. i never claim to work on a project i dont have the know how to complete or even start.
never have i been a burdon to this community being slightly ignorant in the programing and hardware aspect of these devices and os is not a crime and i have always felt the it was incouraged to learn here. so thats what im doing learning im not a devoloper and never have claimed to be one i have offered up my device for testing because i can afford to replace my device if it bricks because i want to see the droid x become as custamizable one day as my poor excuse for an android eris but w/e man think what you will

This kid really does need the boot, he does nothing but bring drama to this community and this site. He needs to be banned not only for what he's done, but what he might do in the future, he's a virus. There are far too many good people here that want to learn and share info with each other, but this kid basically ruins it for the rest of us. Please do us all a favor and get rid of him(and get rid of him again when he makes a new screen name).

This isnt the way to handle the situation guys........you are feeding his addiction, how much you want to bet he's sitting there mashing the f5 button anxsiouly waiting to see what everyone is saying about him? After reading his thread about making a Nexus One kernel, I do agree it is getting out of hand but this truly is a job for the mods, the community IS his addicition, and all we are doing is feeding it. I wish I had a solution but after typing a few and then deleting them while typing this post I realize I am at a loss. Even if we all agreed to ignore him, what about the people who are visiting xda for the first time??? I have been visiting the Droid X forum daily since its inception here at xda(day oner), and it saddens me greatly to see this lunacy has spread from the Incredible forum which I have also frequented for some time.

Haha. i remember this guy from when I had an N1, and yet I'm so naive that he got me again. His act does kind of put a damper on things, but I agree with those who think that he is less of ****ty person than he is a troubled person in need of attention. In fact, while this thread obviously doesn't belong in the Dev forum (or xda at all for that matter), I find this situation fascinating. He would make a great case study for my Master's thesis.

You guys throw around the term troll a lot. The correct term for the context would be noob and report the post to be moved to the question section. Complaining about the problem and not offering a solution is pretty lame.

The fun thing is, it's about to get "worse".
This happened with the Hero too.
From what I've noticed, the cycle goes like this:
Awesome phone is dev phone of choice.
New awesome phone gets released, and previous awesome phone becomes "cheap phone" (or secondhand phone) of choice.
XDA floods with new members with their "new" phones, wanting to join the fun.
By this time, the usual well-known devs, and seasoned users, move on to new forum section, old section fills up with ... well, n00bs (fine) and trolls (not fine).

If you're looking for different ROMs and OS builds that are available for the Nexus S 4g, there is an entire forum for that in this Nexus section....here's the link just in case... http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1171

The Nexus ain't a carrier OEM phone. Googles AOSP code for the NS4G is freely available and new releases for it are absolute new Android releases. If you find a test build you just found a new version of Android. At this point, possibly Ice Cream. Basically it ain't happening.

This thread is intended to be a place for people to come and be able to discuss or share any matter that may or may not be Fascinate phone related. A place that welcomes lulz and "friendly" trolling, BUT by no means should it be a place for vulgar language, offensive comments, or direct attacks with others, or any other violations of forum rules which can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=263. Anyone who breaks the rules should be reported and handled by the moderator, which should help keep the thread open and clean for everyone to enjoy.
For those who may not be in complete understanding of what Lulz/Trolling is, Lulz is more or less like the phrase LOL, when a thread becomes a lulz thread it's basically just gotten way off topic and the post are just everyone joking around with each other with no harm or disrespect intended. On the other hand Trolling is when someone or a thread becomes an argument or just a bunch of personal attacks, which is intended to be disrespectful and mean. (if I'm wrong please correct me)
My intent of this thread is to have a central location/thread for people to come and express their thoughts, feelings, concerns, or really anything that they want to share or just get off their chest. Post whatever your wanting to say here and maybe link the thread your talking about, instead of on the original thread, this way all the lulz/trolling can be contained to one thread. Also hopefully prevent other threads from being hijacked and getting off the topic of the OP, which causes that thread to become just a bunch of arguing and personal attacks and just ends up getting closed.
So it's pretty simple and hopefully I've explained the goal of this tread in a way the the moderator will understand, and not close automatically. I know this thread is going to be walking a VERY fine line, but if everyone who enjoys posting lulz or friendly trolling posts them here, instead in every other post, then hopefully it'll cut down threads that are not phone related from being starting. But things have to be clean, if your the type of person who may take joking around to personal then this isn't the place to attack others who are just merely kidding around, which just starts the snowball effect and the thread closes. I for one enjoy joking around and reading the lulz post of others and many other people do as well, so lets use this thread wisely so we can keep it open, if we do, those who enjoy lulz threads won't have to search for them we can just bookmark this one.

And in what way is this not trashing someone without a reason? As a matter of fact, you're getting very personal and insulting, way more than he did with good reason. If we had any Mods left, this post should get you a ban of 14 days, just to think it over.

I wanna part with the Nexus S, too. It's a pain using Chrome on Nexus S (I tried several ROMs already).
But I think I'll hold back till the end of the year. I hope Google's going to release another flag ship phone
