Is there an app that finds the password of any wifi router? Because some people forgot their password and cannot get on their wifi... I know there's a way for routers named tomson etc. but some people made their own password... Is there an app to get that password? Or do you have to change anything in your system?
don't be dumb... if there is this type of app everyone's wifi network will be used by some random guy with that app

wireless cracker (i think that is what it is called) can get the password of certain wifi's (i think you already found this app), however, do not attempt to use it to get passwords without the consent of the owners of the routers, otherwise it is probably illegal where you are

Or in the manual.
or just google it
or just try to stop stealing ... lol
there are legal uses of such an app
By the way, if the router is a thomson, the only app you need is your hands and your eyes, turn upside down the router and the WEP and WPA key is on the label near the barcode

Turn the router around, and hit the reset button. No need for fancy gadgets and latest technology. So simple, even a monkey can do it!

There is an app name "Router password finder" in Google Play (play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dashndot.routerpasswords) which supplies default passwords of all type of router. You can take a try.
Then all of them will use every Wifi network ......... and Jam the network ....
But definitely if there's any app i will Tell u .........

try using a smaller password anywhere from 5-8 letters. See if that works
and you have to accept it in the access control....

once you open tether go to menu>access control make sure that your device is an authorized client. click enable and check the box next to your device to auth it as an auth user.

There is only one option on wireless tether and it asks for a pass phrase.
Wpa/wpa2-psk.

yea then i guess your only option is to not use encryption and to not go to any password/info sharing sites.
the sprint wifi network that comes on the evo allows you to us encryption and it connects just fine. if you are worried that much about security then i would go with that option.
either way encrypted or unencrypted wifi, neither are safe anyway.
Hi guys, I tried to access Ryerson university mail as well as the student web portal,
and neither one of them run.
Looks like I will be sitting in the school computer lab much more than I expected to...
However using k-9 mail I was at least able to access my school email account even though a lot of formatting does not show correctly and pictures don't work.
Oh well, I can at least wow my classmates when they think I have just another netbook and then ~booom I pull out the screen. he he he

Copy the cert to your sd card, then go into settings and under privacy and security all the way at the bottom there is something like install from sd card...it will automatically find the cert and install it to the tab

You might have a secondary authentication. My school uses EAP for network access security, and under the option for secondary security or whatever its called (I dont have the tablet in front of me right now) I have to use MSCHAP v2, as that is what my schools network uses to authenticate username/password on the server. and make sure you select the cert that you imported under the option for CA certificate. Your IT dept should know how to set it up if you show them where to set up the network connection for wifi...
Anyone know why it is that Chrome for android bypasses OpenDNS settings. I've applied the DNS on the router, other browsers get filtered however chrome just dosnt seem to work. Can anyone shed any light on this?
i use open dns on router too and chrome works just fine on my fathers tablet.check if your wifi settings for your network are set to DHCP. if it's static then maybe you have set different dns on your device so your phone bypass the router settings. this is the only thing i can thing right now. oh also try to clear chrome data and cache from app manager.

static ip uh? thats nice now you don't have update your external ip as i do
Ah yeah that must be a pain. Static costing me like £5 a month so not a big price. Although I've heard its a lot easier to get "hacked" when on things like Xbox online.

for me my carrier sells static ip for 6 € per month.I don't think that static ip will made you open to attacks. The truth is if someone know your ip can try to attack you but your router has firewall so what the possibilities? Also close UPnP thats more unsecure to that stuff

I have rooted phone with Resurrection remix on it. I have an Iptv provider and it's on my android box.
In order for it to work on phone I need to have the same mac address.
I can see how to change mac but does it affect the phone in any way ie WiFi connections etc

That's kind of illegal when you spoof Mac adresses to gain access to restricted services you don't want to pay twice
I can watch it on my phone as long as I am not using it on android box.

Have you tried Mac changer app? I think there was one that needed xpoosed not sure though.
Theres plenty of ways to change a Mac. If you want you can just go into file explorer and change it there have you tried that?
Thanks
I'm okay changing it I just want to know if effects anything else on the phone like WiFi password access or password etc
Cheers

Changing the layer 2 adress always effects the whole communication since you have a new one. Therefore any devices which communicate with the device needs to learn this new adress(happens automatically normally).
If you have some Mac adress security in devices like access points, soho routers etc. you need to change the Mac there too, otherwise you will be blocked.
But passwords not. If you do something wrong, you can mess up your phone.
Thanks
Just want to make sure that my home network WiFi will still connect automatically or do I need to login WiFi password again
Just be careful, because you can have major issues if your android box and phone are on the same network. The router/switch will potentially route packets to the wrong device, making network access slow and/or unstable.
Hi friends, i try to secure my children phones from accessing not wonted sites. At home i configured mikrotik router so there is no way to bypass restrictions. But i cannot control what they access from mobile network.
The ideal way would be to connect phone to home VPN . Is there a way to force phone use VPN so user could not just switch it off?
In that case all home network rules and restrictions would work.
If you have some ideas about it, please share.
P.S. I did it recently when noticed that 8 year old neighbor children are watching porn...
I never tried it, but you could check if "Multiple users" gives you the chance to create a low privileged user which could maybe not edit network/vpn/dns settings?
Maybe you could setup the main accounts &co from the admin user and secure it with your fingerprint, then grant your childs just the "guest" user access?
Maybe give it a try and check what those users (a new one you create or the guest one) are allowed to do and if that achieves your objective

My mother utilized Norton Family to limit what could be seen and not seen. You can also utilize the built in family link ability from google to block searches on google and app store. Link for reference: https://protectyoungeyes.com/content/android-parental-controls-complete-guide-parents/
As far as what you are asking, you could use adguard to create the persistent VPN and use their family dns set up. Once done you can always use an app locker to lock the app settings and the app itself so it can't be uninstalled.
maybe you can test an app locker. with it, they can't stop the app vpn if they haven't the code lock

You can use an APP locker to lock the settings.
If you can't access the settings you can't turn it off.

One problem with the "lock the VPN settings" is that the VPN swithes off fairly randomly. On my phone, I set up a VPN using my home router, and connect to it while on mobile. But at random points in the day it disconnects. It's necessary to go back into VPN settings to turn it back on...

I already use opendns, it blocks everything.
I do not see option to add just dns in android. Child just installs some vpn app or connects to some wifi and restrictions does not work.
On other hand if phone is connected to home vpn, there is no way to bypass it.
My microtik bloks all proxy, vpn and routes dns to opendns.
thanks for app locker suggestion. will try it

It's under Wi-Fi and internet setting but only available for Android 9 version. The adguard family dns blocks ad and adult stuff also.
