Hello all,
I've just done the stylus fix and now the volume slider has stopped working and i don't know why. It doesn't spring back to centre anymore or do anything onscreen or adjust the volume.
I have the service manual but it only says to disconnect keyboard fpc cable, but not how to do so, and the picture is unclear.
I need to do this to remove the main board and look at the volume slider properly. but, I'm a bit scared of breaking it further.
Please, if you know how to help out, or have had this or a similar problem let me know what to do.
Thanks in advance
Can any1 help me with my keyboard or knows how i can fix this? i have to press extra hard on the buttons for them to work. before it was the "I" key now its the I U and K. i figured it had to be dirty or its something from the inside around that area . Can any1 help please!!! this is really annoying!
my T button is like that and my E is extra sensitive
you either have to call t-mobile and tell them your keyboard is broken or you can open it and clean it yourself but you gotta be really really careful and its kinda tough to do
i found this guide...http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?doit=done&tt=url&intl=1&fr=bf-home&trurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pdacenter.ru%2Frazborka%2Frazbor_htc_kaiser%2F&lp=ru_en&btnTrUrl=Translate but im scared my wing is all i have!!
Hello, I don't mean by this title that some key are missing on my uni, I just mean that sometime, when pushin a, n, r and some other keys, it doesn't write anything, I have to push the key a bit more: Is everybody having this problem or my qtek is just being too old ? And in anyway, since it's begining to be really annoying, what's the best I can do, buy a bluetooth keyboard or something else (if there is) ?
Ofc, the warranty is expired.
Thanks for you help.
try taking it appart and cleaning the contacts
go to instructables.com there is a guide on how to fix buttons on a remote control, I would think the same fix would work on the buttons if cleaning does not work.
It's not the same for the uni, the buttons are not easy to separate, well, in fact it's easy but I'm near sure it would break it. Anyway, it seem I found a working fix, I just pushed once each button a bit strongly and I seem to not have this problem anymore...
sometimes when the screen gets little wet due to sweat after attending prev call , the screen doesnt work properly and when a call comes it becomes very hard ...
so is tehre a way to reassign the call answer from touch screen to physical key like Menu/Home/or even Back ?
is a good question, I really doubt there's one
i heard we can map keys for waking up the phone,,,
has anyone found a way to assign any physical button to accept and end calls?
ya anyone ?
