Hello everyone, I am using WP7 Moonlight on my HD2 and was wondering if there is a way for me to change the taskbar at the top of the screen? Or are there any working taskbar skins for WP7 that I can install?

HELLO , i install your taskbar cab file. i meet a problem. the Bluetooth icon is not instead of the old. when i install the [WM Default Dialer Bluetooth.cab] , it displays [Not enough system privileges], can you tell me why an how to do it , thx!

You using WM default dialer? Try turn off bluetooth and restart your ppc than install the bluetooth cab restart again.

Hi, I was wondering if it is not only possible to change the style of the taskbar, but also its position? I'm running a stock AT&T Tilt2 ROM and I would like to keep the taskbar at the top when I flash a new ROM (as opposed to the "bottom" bar I've seen on most roms such as NRG's ROM).

does anyone know how to make the taskbar transparent or change it's background (so i can use my wallpaper as bg and it's like it were transparent) in WM 6.1?
i don't want to use app like wisbar because they must run in background and waste ram...

Hi, on Wm6.5 roms for the touch HD you can press and hold on the start menu items an move them arround but in the HD2 you can only send them to top. Thats is a really ugly to reorder lots of icons.
I think there must be a key in the registry to set this behaviour but cant find it.
Someone knows it?

I use JWMD Icon Changer V1.9 beta for Windows Mobile 6.5 to change the order of the start menu items... Works well.
Hope this helps...
This is not in the registry. Its in a SYS file named gwes ithink. Only way to fix it is by flashing to cooked ROM or update from HTC.

but how old cant it be? HD2 got one of the newest wm6.5 roms... From where the chefs got the newer version for the HD then???

Does JWMD work for anyone else on their HD2?
On my old phone both JWMD Icon Changer and Showaco reSTART worked great in arranging the icons. On the HD2 however, neither seems to work.
JWMD arranges most of the icons on my HD2, but it doesn't rearrange them all (like the settings icon, it appears randomly in the list) and the ones that it does rearrange don't stay where they are supposed to and move after a little while.
What has HTC done to the Start menu to make it different? Because rearranging icons worked great on my old phone with these same exact programs.

I think that behaviour can be cause htc icons are created every time the phone reboots. There is a cab somewhere here (i think is in the tips thread) that disable the recreation of icons so after that you will have no problem. I hope that works

Thanks for the input, but I already solved the issue (by doing a hard reset, heh).
JWMD works great now though, and with some spiffy icons makes my HD2 almost perfect - the disorganized icons were really bugging me.

The stock T-Mo ROM battery icon on the home screen while using "sense" I can get it while the screen is locked but its not there any other time on my HD2 from T-mo...Tj

No I had a x7501 & a TP2 and both had batt on home screen without me modding it...Tj
