Notification led and alarms - XPERIA X2 General

Hello everybody
I was wondering if there is a way for the led to blink and also to hear an alarm tone for missed calls or sms even if the device goes to sleep.

try it with KeypadLedControl and G-alarm , go to http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=galarm/about to get it

what exactly does KeypadLedControl do?

now I found MSentinel from below forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=529227
It will not fix the phone not waking up when a message is receive, but if you miss a message, it will notify you once again, with sound and led notification cause it will wake the phone, been testing it now and it works.

if it can not work for you, maybe you could try DontForget can you get in http://magazin.softimage.cz/dontforget/app-description/
and use these regs file

I appreciate your efforts but it doesn't work neither, really it works, but it awakes the phone wheter there is a missed call or not, i say, it's awaking the phone all the time. The app looks fine but this is a badass phone. Anyway, thank you.

I`m looking about the same.
Charging and incoming call indication LED to continue blinking until there is missed call. If some one found solution please share.
Those application do not fit Xperia X2: Blinker.1.2; DontForgetPPC; LeoExtendedNotifications_v0.92

I use S2U2. This software has an alarm (tone or vibrator) for missed calls or sms with many features. It works even if the device goes to sleep.

But no support for led

Sounds nice!
But how "hard" do you have to shuffle? I mean can it happen accidentially for example by running with the phone in your pocket?

That's why it takes so long until i published this app.
I coded it so, that nothing can happend! Only if you shuffle the device, it change to vibrate or back to volume on.
I think it is not possible, that this happens, when you having your phone in your pocket ..... ok i don't know what you are doing the whole day...maybe it is possible
COOL!
Not to be ungrateful...but would it be possible to write something similar that will put an alarm into "Snooze" mode?
eg...Alarm goes off and instead of me having to navigate through the menu's to stop or snooze, I would just shake it?
i'd like to have a function by shuffling the diamond, that the screen goes on or off...
well done!
But is there any notification if you shake it that the status change is preformed?
So if you do it with the screen switched off you need a feedback if it was sucessfull. Maybe one beep for vibrate and two beeps for volume on?

It doesn't work, when the device is in standby!
If the device is on, you see it in title bar.
But i could also add a vibration feedback when switching.
Nice trick !
I will have a look at this...
Thanks !
@sushi : did you use the Gsensor API for that ?
its perfect!
@MonteCristoffOn:
I figured it out by myself, how to use the gsensor.
But at the end it was easier and faster to use the finished api, which was published a few days ago.
Works great so far!! But one question: Would it be possible to start the app completely in the background like a service? Thanks alot for your work!!
cheers

Yes, that's what i want to do in one of the next versions.
very sweet indeed!! I would also vote for a short vibration feedback after switching and customized actions to perform.. Thank you
After testing, i figured out, that my app works when the phone is in standby. First i said, that it won't...
In next release i give you the possibilty to change parameters, so that we can find the optimal settings.

Works great on the TLR V2 Rom
Would also love to have a little vibrate when the profile is switched.
Thanks for the cool app
thank you again, i don't know if the "cup of coffee" link is there because of my suggestion (from the thflo3d thread) or it was already there but i think i did good use of it.

Yes please provider a slider or something to be able to set the sensitivity by ourselves..... cuz sometimes when I shake it, it changes... other times it doesn't But the intention of this program: I love it!
Working Great!!
Awesome App!
i agree with other comments about the below....
As mentioned, a small vibrate or noise ( maybe make a noise when switch to loud, and vibrate it when switch to vibrate ??)
The shake to "wake up" the fone sounds awesome.
also shake to snooze or turn off the alarm.
Also things such as turning the phone over would work well with the alarm functions, and turning off the alarm
How about turn phone over to snooze alarm... shake it to stop alarm ???

How do you make a reminder beep for missed calls?

Guys, here is my question... My Titan blinks the yellow flashing light when there is a missed call, but has no sound. I went in to sounds and added a sound, which is makes when the missed call comes up on the display. However, it never beeps again. I have time when I am in loud areas or don't have my phone on me, and won't notice a missed call until a few hours later. Is there a way to make a beep sound of some kind for a missed call every few minutes? I am using Reloaded 4 ROM. Thanks!
Anyone? Help!

Tried that, as posted above, but the repeat check box is grayed out and I cannot put a check in it, no matter what sound I pick. As for the manual, its kinda pointless with a homemade ROM installed.
Well my dcd rom has that option so I guess yours is messed up or you have programs or settings not allowing you to change it.
Go to settings/sounds and notifications
make sure the events (warnings, system sounds) is checked otherwise the repeat as you found out will be grayed out. I tried this and it does gray out when unchecked...
There must be an issue with the Reloaded ROM that I have. I can check and uncheck the events check box, and go into where you set the missed calls sound, but the repeat check box is still grayed out. I guess I may have to see if I can find a tweak to fix it.
Found the registry change to fix this... http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/546050-post18.html
Thanks guys.
Delete..........
The reg hack works.... But after I "dismiss" the notification it still keeps notifying me.

Even though I dont own an HD2 (yet).. try going in settings tab then down the bottom choose "menu/all settings", then choose personal, then phone and sellect keypad "off".. take care
Thank you, that worked (can't believe I missed it).
no worries... Its easy to get lost some times in wm, even more so when this is masked by htc sense ui
Great, thanks for the tip! I thought I had been through all sub-menus but I somehow missed the "Personal" one

We almost need a thread called ,
"Everything you want to know about HD2 but were afraid to ask" ..
I know there are some things that I just missed that were staring me right in the face ...
Anyone know how to disable this through the registry? I'm trying to sort this out when XDA_UC runs.
I flash A LOT and it's a pain to do this every single time.
EDIT: Got it

Vibrate only when in the pocket

If it works for increasing volume...is there any way to make the device vibrate when in the pocket or in dark only?
Some weeks ago i saw application in the Android market, But dont remember name. Sorry.
I need it for windows mobile...forgot to mention...thanks anyway...
This is not a solution, but I would suggest you contact the developer of the AutoLoudSpeaker, as it looks like a modification of his program would be a solution.
* HERE *
Thanks.
I've just posted question about my problem in the given thread.
This is a good idea & along with a hack for pulsing vibrate would be very very useful as constant vibrate is close to useless.

I already use this application for vibrating pattern and seems like you need it too...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=569025
You can set your own vibrating pattern so it doesnt constantly vibrate like an earthquake...
Before I found this application I had vibration disabled just because the constant and too powerful vibrating...
For some reason it doesnt work for SMS for me...maybe I am forgetting something...

The only problem I had is that I cant make the sms vibration to work...I am more than satisfied with incoming calls...
Kind of the problem I had, calls were ok but all else failed & it was not controllable via standard adjustment UIs or profile softwares so was not much use for my needs.
