help..don't know what's wrong with my phone.

here's the behavior of the phone.
- phone always restarts even when i'm not doing anything
- after restart, it will restart again after the loading screen (SE animation)
* this happens about 2-4x before it stays open and usable
- when charging phone, phone shut downs, no powering off phone dialog
- can't start phone after shutdown, phone just vibrates when powered on
- need to remove mc, sim and battery for about 5 mins before it can start
- now i can't really start the phone no matter what.
i've got the phone for 2 months now, and it just recently behaved like this. can someone tell what could cause all these behavior. really need your help guys.

x10a or x10i? rooted or normal? what firmware are you running? and what's the last thing you remember doing before these events started to take place?

^Excellent troubleshooting questions
I would also try using a different battery and see if that makes a difference.

last thing i did:

* this happens when i'm just browsing the contents of the phone. not using any app or file manager. just looking what apps i've got through the pull up menu, the properties of the phone. basically nothing that important

First of all... mabuhay and mga Pinoy!
Does SEUS pick up the phone?
Can you get in to Flash Mode at least or when you say not booting up at all, you mean... no power whatsoever?
Have you tried a different battery?

SEUS can detect it. There are two options right now (1) Update and (2) Factory Reset + Update. I don't to flash as much as possible cause I haven't backed up the phone yet. Will (1) Update erase my contacts and messages? There are important messages in my phone.
About the not booting up. No nothing, the phone just vibrates when I power it on. Nothing happens.
About the battery. Haven't tried a different one cause I don't know anyone else who has an x10. How much would the battery cost here?

Argh phone is rebooting itself every 30min

Just noticed this with phone on my desk at work keeps rebooting about the 4th time now! Just not long debranded to 026 cant think of anything ive installed apart from ambienthome? anyone else had issues with it

Nope.
I got rid of the restart problem by doing a reset to factory defaults,others had a taskkiller that was causing it,and someone had a battery issue.
Edit: forgot to ask: did you try to remove the ambient home and see if the problem is still there?

Removed flyscreen seems ok sofar phone starting to lag bad though typing away and the text appears 5 sec later. Factory reset I think probs the amount of apps ive had on and off the phone lol

i had exactly the same problem and then became worst ... the phone started to restart itself every minute ... so i take it back to the shop and they replace it for me...

I had the same and flashed it, now it works ok again

My new Tab suddenly started downloading...

I plundered getting my SIM card inserted and suddenly I got a black screen with a picture of a working man telling me "Downloading, do not turn off target!!"
It has been like this for awhile now, couple of hours; is this normal? Or is something very wrong?

Seems you´ve entered flashmode.. I would tell you to remove your battery but that is not an option with the Tab??

Long press the power button until the device starts to reboot.

Took a chance and pressed the power button and now it is working again..

Nothing to worry about. This is android "download mode" for flashing firmwares/repair etc. Nothing is actually "downloading" unless you're flashing a firmware or something with odin, so It will be safe to use.

Strange problem after update to Froyo

Ok....update to Froyo succesfully using Kies...
I try to connect the phone to Kies...Kies recognize the phone, shows the phone memory, the sd card.... But when I use the Contacts widget, it says "no phone connected". If I click the contact button from the upper right corner, where Kies shows the phone, I get next message: other application is using the phone. Please close that application first.
Enybody knows why? I have to say one important thing; this problem appears after applying One click lag fix 2.2. Can I fix this problem?

Hello, I am Not a noob at all when it comes to android phone but i have this funny and weird problem. Phone starts to get to dock mode when i havent even connected it to dock.
Then after pulling the battery it. Is got stuck in the dock connected and disconnected loop making the phone unusable.
On the second restart I did, it then started playing music from my music player. Even when i close the app. It again starts to play the music automatically.
After that, the phone switched to vibrate. As soon as i preess the vol up key, it goes back to vol down and goes into vibrate mode
This is very frustrating as I have 0 rogue apps. No malware etc. I have the latest MG1 indian rom via OTA.
Anyone else experienced this?

As someone familiar with Android I take it you've already tried factory reset or re flashing stock firmware?
