Just wondered what modem / basebands people are using with there Roms?
I am on a stock modem from Jj7 official Rom and call quality isn't so good , surely there are better ones?
A link would be nice if possible to the best modem...

You need to tell us what carrier and country you are in. Many variables!
Jha/JMI so far works best for me. Fast and responsive try that.
Well I upgraded to JMI rom and JMF modem and the call quality is much improved. I have a euro tab btw

Hi all,
I have a stock Tmo Vibrant, I hate touch wiz its ugly anyway I was reading about RyanZa's LagFix but I don't have my Vibrant rooted yet and I read the LagFix wont work on phones the JP3 firmware. My question is how do I figure out the baseband that I'm on??
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
if you are stock and non rooted then you are most definitely NOT on the jp3 firmware

Its the I9000(Europe's Galaxy S) baseband...At first people were trying to flash these, as they have been available for about a month now, and basically found out that it was a major incopatibility(Phones were bricking left and right ). Now that the kernal source has been released, these new ROMs should start rolling out with the Vibrant baseband rather than the I9000
Has anyone seen the new firmware for asia on samfirmware?

Hi guys,
I found a bug, if bug can be called.
The FANTASTIC build-in screenshot that all of us have used in Froyo does not work on Gingerbread: the combination of keys Back+Home does not work
There is a way to restore it? The apps on the market are very inconvenient.
It's a problem of mine or not?
Thanks guys
PS The rom that I have actually installed is in my signature
for me it works

Chainfire released a new app. At android market which is based on the firmware flashing software by samsung named 'Odin' which we all use to upgrade our devices and flashing stock firmware.
this is a really good app. For people who don't have access to laptop or computers everytime or who are on the go all the time, just download a new firmware into internal SD and flash it.
Currently it has add on s for sgs2 and galaxy note on market.
I really hope an add on for sgs comes soon.
Check out that app. Guys.
Gr8 work from chainfire. Thank you cf.

Haha exactly the same here, haven't looked or considered another rom for ages, only even here because of ICS porting news! Still, mobile Odin is a major win!

Nope, not right now. You can buy this app. And make system dump file and give it to chainfire then he may add support for vibrant.

Not working for me
Really odd that i got none of my flashes to work.
Started with flashing stock JVT rom, booted ok, then installed mobile odin --> flash stock JVT as test, not able to boot...
Flashing by normal Odin works just fine with the same files.
Phone is european I9000
After every mobile odin flash i get only E3 recovery, nothing else
the best application of the year!
chainfire thank you very much!
you have my donation with the purchase of the app
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317772 looks like a awesome rom but i want make sure before i flash it lol

I have fat fingers excuse me please...(didn't mean to hit thank button 2x) sometimes its just best to back up your current ROM and just flash the ROM your curious about and check it out yourself. You may even love the ROM whether that app works for you or not.
