i have rooted the flipout, but i want 2.2 only for APP2SD.!!!!!
comunque il nuovo update non è la 2.2, ma un miglioramento per poter usare + app che usano il 3D (almeno cosi si vocifera su internet).

Hello all,
Motorola distributed some links to access update packages for Flipout, e.g. UK, Italy, Germany on facebook. I tried to update my flipout with original German o2 rom and the update failed. Since then, my flipout won't boot, when I switch the device on, noting happens, only Motorola logo is shown.

But be careful with updating - as I already mentioned, my device won't boot, I'll take it to my local dealer today.
Not so good then D: I'm trying one now, think I have GB retail rom somewhere but no idea on the German one
K... it picked up on it being on the card, rebooted and came the the screen with the exclaimation triangle, from there I could reboot, or hit update.zip and watch a stream of text. Either way phone is fine but no update has happened.

i have too 1.14.2.MB511.Retail.en.CEE version and i try update this on a UKpack but it not run, i have unroot phone... and my layout on keyboard is qwerty...
maybe I am doing it wrong but i do it that like on motorola site instruction is it, step by step... :/

on the polaris and touch forums there are the same non working updates.. some guy on the polaris forum says that htc has planned wm 6.1 update for sept 08... so maybe thats it or... its just a rumour...

I flash and i must say it is not Generic Latin America R2AA011 (1.03.841.8) as say in pavels topic...

It has also google search and an update for camera it let you choose frames velocity..Fast and slow...

Hi,
I wanted to install the sms update from the HTC site. The update states it is for rom 1.66.XXX.X or lower. Since I have 1.66 it should be no prob I tought..
Well, when trying to install the exe. from my memcard, it says "This hotfix is not compatible with your device"
Any idea whats going wrong?
You shouldn't need the SMS fix for 1.66 as its already included in the ROM.

Hmmm the english site states less than 1.66, while the dutch site states 1.66 or less.
NL HTC site:

I just got new update from Samsung. Numbers after update:
Firmware: 2424.11.11.2
Radio software: 2424.11.9.1
Bootloader: 5.11.1.8
I'm not sure but I thing my bootloader and my radio were updated. Is this something that I missed before or they rolled out some new update?

I don't know how do they do it, but I must say that I always get Samsung updates before I even hear they've been rolled out. I don't know why or how. I somewhat doubt that Bosnia is on their priorities list

i got it via zune, too. few minutes ago. it was 'bundled' with the 8107 update i got.

can't open that link. What's the problem?
I installed this update forcing it with cab sender (I forced 8170 too) and have no issues.
Battery seems lasting longer now
I refreshed the link check it out now.
