O found a lil glitch with the browser. Turn off wifi and 3g, 4g. Go to a webpage, it'll come up with this page:

Now, see the little android figure in the top left? Turn on your choice of internet connection, long click the android, click save image, it wont to anything. I keep trying but it wont do anything. Now long click and press view image, it pauses, then browser force closes. Try it for yourself.

Like I tell my developers when I submit "useless" bugs, if it's not meant to be done, then it needs better error handling. It's a bug no matter how tiny it is.
It hurts when I poke my fingers into my eyeballs.

There's a lot of bugs between 3g and 4g in my experience, can't switch during a download etc....
Ya ive noticed that, except its 3g and wifi for me(no 4g here) start a download on one switch and it wont pick up where it left off.

Ya. Download a 3g toggle widget, or juice defender(what i use), etc. Then place the widget on the screen.

2.1 doesn't support animated GIF's from what I have read. 2.2 is supposed to.
Pics? is your data working? How about 4g? Audio? Give us more info and whether or not its actually functional or just have Gingerbread on your phone.

FWIW animated gifs load fine in firefox on my epic...

no add ons. Its choppy the first time through, but plays fine once its done loading.

ummm... we already have the hardware, you just have to activate it. It's surprisingly easily accomplished. I'm currently working on a write-up for devs to include this feature in future ROM releases.

Agreed.
This issue can't get enough attention IMO. We shouldn't have to buy a Nexus device or hack our devices down to the lowest level just to avoid CIQ. It needs to be exposed for all it is. I'm glad to see more coverage on this.

The zero in the article writing software looks like "o" so i used capital O for appearance purposes. Stupid fonts. I thought it was auto-correcting me until i type another number and realized all the numbers were lower case letter size. I'll try to find a fix.

It's Honeycomb for Evo View 4g (my bad). I'm betting devs here will 'fix' the issues below before Sprint/HTC does... Or maybe they can use some of its code to get Sense running on ICS??

Face unlock is working pretty well. Got to be in a well-lit room though. But from m experience, it's working. It might not recognize your face sometimes. Try it for yourself. qbking77 also had a video on YouTube showing the face unlock feature on the Epic 4G.

I flashed it and face unlock is there. cant comment on how well it works because im in a darker room but i love it. I dont really want to go back to CM7. ahh why do i have to choose. :-(
Update: I've noticed it gets used to the charger and the heat goes away once the battery is at a higher percentage

Same experience. I was playing around while it was charging and it was hot. Checked the battery temp it was 102.5 or something. Put it down for about a half hour and checked the temp again and it was right around 90. And the battery was about 80%.
Why did the thread get temporarily closed?
