[Q] Looking for a game like Brickslider - Android Software Development

I had this game, Brickslider(can't post a link yet) for Winmo. Was wondering if anyone has seen anything like it for Android? Searched XDA and PPCGeeks and google, but may have missed something. Or maybe someone smarter than be could make a clone of it. Thanks!

Samsung Instinct Call Answer

I can't find video of it, but if anyone has played with the Samsung Instinct, when an incoming call comes in, you slide up to answer, down to deny. It's pretty nice looking.
Just wondering if there is something like this, or if someone could develop a copy of it. I know there is Slide 2 Answer on S2U2, but it's not very similar and (to my knowledge) you have to have S2U activated to use this, or else it will just have buttons.
I know I'm not supposed to post a new thread if I'm not contributing, but I've seen people get away with it and I searched everywhere for this. My apologies in advance.
That is a good solution indeed. It would solve the problem of accidentally accepting calls while pulling the phone out of your pocket. It's very hard to implement on the Diamond though, because you can't mess with the phone app much.
Found the video...
It's at 5:30 of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhzpTS7CpfU
it looks like a nice feature and with some skins could look pretty nice and cleaned up given all the talent on xda
it would be interesting to see something like this develop probably as an add on to s2u2 like the s2u2-vc
Yes, thanks for the agreement.
next version of Sunscape could include this way of answer or deny a call.
That'd be sweet. I hope someone takes interest in this idea.
Gotta co-sign that. If that ever got implemented into s2u2, it'd be a wrap. Best app ever.
Agreed! Even without s2u2.
bump? z
Last bump, doesn't anyone else like this?
It's definitely a great idea. Just have to wait until one of the great developers here want to take on the task.

[Q] Has anyone gotten the Blockbuster app to work from HD2?

I just downloaded it but I've heard that some people have issues actually trying to download a movie. Didn't see any threads about it. Just wondering if someone got it to work on a TP2.
You must not have looked very hard or did a search. There is a thread about this currently on the 1st page.

No, I read this thread. But I'm looking for people who have actually downloaded a move with the app on a TP2. People who reported sucess have HD2s or Imagios. I should have said I didn't see a 'POST' that confirms that it would work properly on a TP2. And I ALWAYS do a search before posting a question, young buck.

[Q] mostly confused

Thus far i have rooted my phone, it was a little messy but i got it figured out through some excellent walkthroughs here. thanks!
At this point im wondering what my next step should be. I know theres guides to "debing" but im starting to think it might be easier to... whats the right word.... flash a new rom?
Basically, if i were to "uninstall" the current OS on this thing and re-install it with a "better" one, would that not 'googlify' the phone?
Im mostly lost in a mess of overinformation, i know just enough to be dangerous but finding it hard to find guides that explain things in a way i can understand if its something i want to do...
Please.... help?
edit: actually, is there like, an online chat somewhere i can talk realtime with someone (preferably a place thats noob friendly)

FAQ Post Mod for OP's.

So I spend soooo much time just like anyone else searching through the threads of posts such as the new 2.2 builds looking for answers. There should be a way to implement a post right under the OP's post referring to all the Questions and Answers throughout the entire thread. That way it makes it easier for users to get the answers, and you wont have a million post asking the same damn question. Any idea on how to implement something like this? A way users can manage it instead of the op since it would take forever for the op?
Something like what is on Slickdeals you mean? Would be nice I imagine, though I can't see anything like that ever being implemented, since it would take a lot of work on the forum.
dunno but interesting question

[Q] App Help

I think this is in the right topic area, but it was the closest I could find. I'm looking to create an app for android (which I can eventually add to the play store), that contains buttons of a sort in the fact that if you tap on the screen in once place one thing will happen and in another place, something else. Can anyone recommend the software I should use to create this app? Also, what language would be best for it. I think I already know the answer to this, and it may seem like a stupid question, but I don't want to presume and get it wrong. Thanks!
I think you should use android studio that's the best android app development tool used...
