You should be able to partition it in your custom recovery.
OR
Try using Ubuntu live CD and mount your sdcard.
Then partition it using GNOME Partition Editor.
Click me.

Could someone post a quick easy partition tutorial.
I would like to partition from Windows or Terminal Emulator is possible.

I think you can partition from recovery...
the reason apps2sd does not work is cause when you run the a2sd install command it does move the dalvik cache or create the sym links like it's supposed to. the apps gets moved the private apps gets moved but the kernel doesn't create the crossover link to the sdcard correctly or move the dalvik cache.
framework if there's a step i'm missing here would you please enlighten the class please cause i'm running into the same problem with my rom and it would greatly help me.
thx in advance not complaining here just bashing my head right now not understanding why it won't work.
Sup I know there is a hack for ext4 on the nexus s but haven't seen anything for the NS4G. Is it the same hack or what? If so it seems a little complicated to get going with the tutorial given. Does anybody have a better tutorial or if there is a different hack for the 4g can you direct me to it please? Much appreciated.

not sure what "ext4 hack" youre talking about, but there is an ext4 mount script. itll give you a little speed/performance kick overall. but its not really a hack, its a fix. type this in a terminal emulator app..
su(press enter)
mount -o remount,noauto_da_alloc /data /data(press enter)
youll have to type it in after each reboot. or you can use an app to run it after each boot. most custom kernels already include it or some version of it, stock doesnt include it.
Use dsixda's rom kitchen to unpack boot.img: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246
Then do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/private.php?do=showpm&pmid=4452832 and repack.

Code:
mount ext4 /dev/block/platform/s3c-sdhci.0/by-name/system /system wait ro noauto_da_alloc
mount ext4 /dev/block/platform/s3c-sdhci.0/by-name/userdata /data wait noatime nosuid nodev noauto_da_alloc
Sorry bout that

I think I've done everything right and getting ready to flash soon. How will I know if it worked?
So I did everything you said, repacked (no errors, everything worked fine) now when trying to flash it gives me this "error in/tmp/sideload/package.zip (status 6)" Do you have any clue why this would happen?
EDIT: NVM I fixed it.
I don't understand why people want to make it harder on themselves. just run the script, it does the same thing.

It's not really hard...it's actually kind of easy with that particular kitchen. Plus I am willing to do it all because I like learning.

Hmm
Tried to flash the repacked rom and got stuck in a bootloop. Really can't find anything on why this happened or how to fix. Restoring nandroid as we speak.

Lol. yeah well we all gotta start somewhere. I practically live on xda as it is, so I may as well learn as much as I can and hopefully become a contributor in some way. It started as just wanting to dink sound with my own device but now that I know that I CAN do it. I want to go further with it.

No mount scrip
System cm10 build 6
Please help form this error
Swap 256
Sdext 1024 ext4
You have to clear up some space in the system. Oh and next time search first this has been asked and answered numerous times in both related threads. The whole solution is described there.
Swyped from my P509 on Tmobile.
With Swype and Flash, why would anyone choose the iPhone?
not working

thanks for replying
it´s a clean installation, full wipe and wipe fo all partition, one by one... and try repair partition, and try creating partition and convert ext2 to ext3 and ext3 to ext4
I will find the solutions already published, but with the installation of other roms no problems, even with CM10 build 5
I use cwm 5.0.27 n it works.256 ext4 and 64 swap.

What?
Delete one unused app from the /system partition. You should be able to do so within Link2SD. Just filter the system apps and remove one (make sure that something doesn't rely on it!) If you don't use app E-Mail (not Gmail) you can remove it, only the E-mail and not the provider. That should work, I have done it this way too.

Hmm, Link2SD works but it won't work?
You need to delete some files in /system/ in order to create the mount script. Our system parition is too tall. So delete some files you don't need from system.
Example:
If you don't like E-Mail, delete Email.apk from /system/app/
And so on!
Recovery: That's normal! It isn't a problem, it's on every LG-P500!

Hi all,
First of all, Multirom: Great work !!! Using Ubuntu 13.04 Desktop for my schoolwork on my N7 and works perfectly.
Except, I can't get to my internal storage (aka SDCard, /storage/emulated/0/) from Ubuntu.
I have done some research and so far, the only conclusion I have for it not to work, is because Multirom uses some sort of chroot jail for the ubuntu folder. I have done some adjustments of the init script and the local script (located at the ubuntu folder inside the Multirom folder), but it had no success.. I tried to make a hardlink from /storage/emulated/0 to a folder inside my Ubuntu "chroot", but it doesnt work.
Does anyone has any idea at all on how to fix this?
I downloaded dolphin from the software center. After installed, open terminal and type "sudo dolphin". Provide root password and dolphin will open. Your internal sdcard contents will be available in the left payne of the dolphin window.
It is not that multirom is in a chroot jail. The "multirom" folder on the sdcard is just given different permissions to keep the media scanner in android from getting access to it, so it is not running and looking for media there.

Thanks ! Tried and succeeded.
For anyone else: you do need to be root in order to access the folders, as above mentioned.
this doesnt work for me. i can see my 28GiB filesystem but cant find the sdcard part of it and i was root
