my phone is not starting in recovery mode but the phone is starting perfectly fine can somebody help me!!??

how are you "trying" to get into recovery mode?

im hitting the home and power button but it stays stuck on the g1 home screen

is the phone powered down (completely off) before you press both buttons at the same time while holding both until the g1 splash screen shows up?

yes its completly off it stays stuck on the g1 splash tough and when i power the phone normally it works fine

are you sure you are pressing both home (second to left button) and the power (far right button) at the same time and holding it till the g1 splash screen?
also try removing the battery and leaving it out for a little while after you power it down. then try again.
also is the phone plugged in as you are attempting to do this?

i tried all of that and no its not connected. i tried doing an update with jf updater and it would try getting root access but oncce again it would just freeze on the g1 splash

well you should stated that in your OP.
try re-flashing the build you want.
wipe before you do so for good measure.

how can i do that? if i cant get into the root screen? would i have to re root my phone again

well from what you've told me so far, sounds like there was a problem when or while you were updating through jf updater.
since i don't know exactly what you did or did not do to your phone.
just go ahead and re-root your phone using the dreaming file.
start from scratch.
that for sure will solve your problem.

what if its going straight to hboot mode when im pressing the camera+power button

when i turn the phone on pressing the camera+power button its taking me straight to the hboot mode

what do you mean what if...?
if you are trying to re-root your phone then umm i would suggest you reading the guide step by step that is linked in the HERE link i have in my sig.

reflash your recovery image.

Definitely reflash. Something went haywire. Hopefully you don't need to get a new phone

Need HELP pleas!!!!, my HD2 is freezed.

I waz installin this new ROM for Darkstone, Android Rom (Desire) for HD2.
i installed the rom, but when i start my for it freezes just when the HTC logo coms, and its stays just licke that!!!!!!
Pleas help my, is it anyway to connect my phone via Device Center to the PC without my phone is on or? Then maby i can flash a new Rom.

pull battery out, and put it back in , hold down the volume button and while your holding it turn the phone on, it will take u to the bootloader screeen, u should be good from there.

I have done that, but still nothing happens, when i turn on the phone, it stops to the HTC logo, and its just stays like that,

You are not doing it correct. If you are pressing the volume down button while the phone is powering up, you should go straight into bootloader and you should NOT see the HTC screen.
Furthermore, put a new ROM into your SD card before you do this, so you can flash another ROM.

I press bouth of volum buttons, and turn on the phone on, and i complet and i pres volum up to boot.
how can i flash a new rom from my SD card `? can u pleas tell me.

First of all do you have hspl..? Secondly if you do, don't hold both the volume buttons, just simply hold the volume down button and while holding it turn your phone on.. hope this helps!

Magldr 1.12 instalation problem

I wanted to ask if someone clashed with problem like that and knows how to solve it. I had 1.66 rom eastern euope and installed 2.08hspl, tried to install latest magldr and I am guessing problem occured because I didnt installed latest radio. Now when I am turning on the phone it shows white screen and green logo and stuck. Tried turning of the phone and holding - volume button when turning on that didnt make any difference can someone help me to revive my phone ?

So you tried to get into bootloader, but the thing is you have to try harder.
Bootloader should work just fine.
So again, turn of your phone. while the phone is turned off, keep the vol down, and press the power button.Release the power button, but keep the vol down pressed.
You can try the other way: hold the vol down pressed and reset the phone(red button on the back).
If you want to use the SD card method to flash something you still have to enter the bootloader, so you must keep trying.
Forgot to ask: did you manage to enter the bootloader or not, cause you only said it did not make any difference????.What does that mean?

I already trying to enter bootloader for the five hours, so I guess it's impossible, also tried that thing with red button it didnt load up that bootloader screen. The thing is that holding volume key down didn't work for me before to get into bootloader even when the phone was ok but it did install all roms which I tried so I didnt think that this would be problem either apparantely it is... Maybe youu have some other suggestions how to fix it ?

If you can make the pc recognize the HD2 then you can flash anything.
But i think that this is only possible in bootloader or windows or android.
So this is a problem.
No ideea for now.

But you *do* push both vol. down and power buttons and keep them pushed until the screen turns on, don´t you?
I didn´t get into the bootloader as long as I didn´t kept both buttons pushed long enough... had to learn the "timing" kind of...

[Q] Stuck in Clean Boot - Help!

Hi, I was in the middle of Flashing my Acer Neotouch S200 when the usb got knocked out. I now cannot get back into bootloader mode at all. I try to do this by holding the camera, volume and power buttons while holding down the reset button.
I simply go into the clean boot screen where it is stuck. Please, please help! Is there anything that will let me flash it again?
One other thing, if an microSD card is inserted into the slot and I try to get it into bootloader mode, the blue led turns on then the red led flashes twice every 5 seconds. Is that normal because it did it before the flashing process was interrupted but when I took the microSD card out the PC would recognize it to be in bootloader mode.
I tried looking on other posts but nothing worked
Problem Solved!I managed to get it into bootloader mode by pressing volume down, camera and power buttons while holding down reset rather than having both volume buttons.

please i need an English rom to install in my s200 neo touch acer. my acer s200 is stuck in clean boot, i was able to get to bootloader and my acer usb port was installed on my pc, now i need to flash and installed a new rom but i dont have a rom and dont know how to installed it. please helpppppppppppppp. my acer rom is s200_2.003.00_IT but i want an english rom as this one is in italy. [Q] Black Screen and wont turn on. Did I brick it?

So I got a stock HD2 from my bro today and decided to put Nand Android on it.
1. I first loaded HSPL 2.08 via HD2TOOL KIT. Everything worked perfect.
2. Then I installed MAGLDR also via HD2TOOL KIT. Got the MAGLDR menu and thought everything was cool. Then I proceeded to shutdown via the last item on the MAGLDR Menu.
3. The HD2 shut itself off. That's when I proceeded to try to turn it back on and got nothing but black screen.
-----so my HD2 right now:
1. Slight vibrate when I long press power button.
2. Stays on black screen with no changes.
3. Cannot get into Tri-color HSPL screen(vol down+pwr).
4. Will not charge
5. When connected to my windows 7 PC, it detects as qualcomm device.
Tried pulling battery, pressing soft reset(no action), Pressing vol up+down+ pwr for hard reset (no action).
Is my hd2 bricked? How is it possible that I bricked it by installing magldr via hd2tool kit?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys

No joke, im gonna say your screen is shot, especially after seeing its shattered. Lol. It honestly sounds like its booting up and working properly. Try putting it in bootloader and plugging it into your computer, like push vol dwn + pwr and hold it for 30 seconds or so. Then see what windows see's it as. It honestly appears to be working (from your video) just that youre not getting and display. If it were bricked, i dont think it would power up or vibrate.

Try opening it up and checking the cables inside to see if they are alright

Thanks for the help guys! I ended up leaving the battery out for 10 min. Put it back in. and everything was back to normal. phew!!!
