how do you add alpha blending to buttons in the xml file?

I think you just need a PNG with a proper alpha channel. Can you explain further what the problem is?

Hello everybody. I have problem with edit some .9.png. Created graphic in draw9patch, but i dont know what next? I use Linux.
Do you mean editing 3rd party apps? Try apktool from my signature: it could automatically decode and build 9.png files. Also it has quite good Polish support ;-D

I'm diving in Android "developement" for the first time.
I am trying, for a private project, to modify slightly the dimension of the emojis displayed in the chat, which are WAY too small, and make them bigger.
I already managed to decompile and recompile and sign without errors the official apk and apply little mods (some emoji changed, some text changed).
I've looked pretty much everywhere in the decompiled xml files, still i don't understand well the smali files.
Anybody can help? Thanks!

Hello XDA, i don't know if this is the right place to ask this but i was trying to change the status bar icons in my A510F which i failed. Yeah I know I was going to buy the plugin soon if I couldn't find a way to do it with editing systemui
