obviously you will not need the dongle that they include for the ipod

MK 6000
Try the MK 6000 from Parrot.
I have just purchsaed one, but I am trying very hard to get it to work with my XDA II Mini. (I need to make it A2DP compatible)
I will let you know how I get on.
If I fail to get it the A2DP installed I might just go and get myself a new XDA Atom Exec.
wow that looks really good from the first post a little a little expensive but perfect. the only thing that kills me is that there are so many steps for to be able to pair the devices. i hope someone figures out a way to develop a shortcut.
Is this possible without a cable?

I have, the only thing in there is using a usb cable. I think there might be a app for what I want to do.......
You should just need to start up your bluetooth in Wireless & Networks>Bluetooth Settings on your phone. Then just put your car and phone into discoverable mode and pair with your phone and it should be connected.

Well that was done before and I can receive and make calls but when I launch the music it still comes out of my phone. Has anyone tried this?
In the bluetooth menu, tap and hold your car's bluetooth profile, then uncheck "phone audio" or whatever but leave music stereo, and try again, if that worked then check the phone audio again and you should be ok

There is no option for "music stereo" but I do see "phone audio"
Just beacause your car can make calls through bluetooth that doesn't mean you can play music... its has to be able to read certain bluetooth codes... what kinda radio is it

Well my Kenwood has a older BT adapter and It's not setup for that. NP, I'll just use the cable.
Thanks to everyone for all your help!
Hi folks, my first test run of the xda on Android. Whoo. All feels along way from my previous tytn ii
Anyway, I have also just got a Citroën c3, brand new with built in Bluetooth. The DHD and the car have paired up fine and the calls and in-dash contacts is amazing. But the media option on the Bluetooth settings for the car (long press options in Bluetooth settings menu) keeps re-enabling its self when I disable it!
I don't want the media option enabled, the car has usb, mp3 etc etc so I don't use the phone. And when media is enabled Google nav sounds go through the stereo but not when on anything other than the phone set as the input. I.e. cd, radio, usb, mp3 on, no Google nav sounds.
Any one know why the media settings in Bluetooth options for the car (in the phone) keep reseting?
Thanks for reading, pointers appreciated as much as direct advice
Cheers
Jay

See if the headset supports A2DP protocol. If it doesn't then you can't.
