Please help marketplace app gone!

I have just installed darkeys 9.2 extreme and my market place app is completely gone. How can i get it back?

As usual you will find the answer within darkys post. Suggest start at page one if not search his posts .

You mean you have installed a ROM and do not even no where the Darky post for that rom is and have a problem and are to damn lazy to search .
600 odd posts 99% answering i broke my phone using Darky rom help and or xxx but i am to lazy to search and whats even worse that you either dont ask or dont get the help on Darkys rom from Darky .
Yes i am annoyed but no longer Darky help posts are beyond me from now on .

I had the same problem and solved it by configuring darkys rom app to do a wipe install and i checked all samsung and third party apps.
In clockwork mod i did a full wipe/factory settings first. Then i reinstalled darkys 9.2 and my market was back.
Redownloading/installing the market app didn't work for me

Just download the market app to your computer, transfer it to your phone's sd card and install.
Just Google for android market apk (you can also do this on your phone btw). This is the easiest way to do it.

4. put this folder in xrecovery / backup
5. go to rekaveri menu and select backup and restore
6. choose a restore and look at the list MiniCM6-1.0.0 (Released) and select it
7. after the inscription restore complete, click Reboot phone and waiting for boot firmware.
If you are installing the firmware will write Checking MD5 sums ...
MD5 mismatch! then rename MiniCM6-1.0.0 (Released) 2.2 for example

Its froyo i dont have an x8 to test it but its tested on my cusins phone x8 and i don't have accses to his phone... sorry.. hes in Slovakia and i am in Serbia it wold be a long wait for some pics so yea sux i know but it works 100% its awesome and f you use the app setcpu and overcloack your x8 to like around 700 mhz it will be a MONSTER i tell ya .. it i just awesome it left me speachless when i saw it ran angry birds smoothly...

You can try wiping cache and if this doesnt work try downloading the .apk file ( google it) install the apk and then uninstall the app and then it should work

Do review Srom-2.2.1FloyoX8-V2 by zousoum96&stelios97 or ill call you cheating.

I post only the most interesting roms, srom rom is a copy of minicm, so I don't think that it's neccessary to do it.

I guess it would be better if UI was in english, and it ain't really a review, rather showcase. Would be better if you actualy talked about the rom rather then just sliding through menu and opening apps.
But I like the overall idea. Thanks for taking time a showing us custom roms

I use floyo 020 too..., to move app to sd .., go to setting , manager application., choice what app u want move.., click move to sd card ,not yet.., click again move to sd , click twice..

Is it true that all 2.2 ROMs have got english language? I mean what languages have got 2.2 ROMs? English is OK, but I want my language in it. Is it possible?
(the other thing is a rumor that states all 2.3-s contains my language too, not just english. How is it possible?)

This video is specially for those people, who don't understand how to use custom romS and how to use xrecovery itself.

[ROM] Modified cm-10.1 for GT-I9010 GIORGIO ARMANI [ROM]

This ROM is modified for the GT-I9010 users among us (based on cm10.1 20130121 EXPERIMENTAL M1).
First of all you must go back to stock with your phone!!!
If you don't use the following files, your phone wont work.
Download BOTH Firmwares and choose these 2 files for flashing with Odin:
-GT-I9010-CSC-MULTI-OXA902407.tar.md5 --> CSC (you can find these files at http://www.sammobile.com)
-I9010XXKB2-REV00-ALL-low-CL909299.tar.md5 --> PDA
After flashing you're phone to stock:
- Now root your phone via "onecklickroot" (enable USB-debug and dont forget to restart after that).
- connect the phone in storage mode with the usb cable.
- replace the 3e_recovery file with the existing in System/Bin (download root browser lite from google play store).
- place the rom on the internal sd card.
- install Rom-manager and install clockworkmod (choose samsung captivate).
- reboot into recovery menu and press 2 times "reinstall packages", after that you start into the clockworkmod.
- choose install zip from sd and choose cm-10.1 GT-I9010 Giorgio Armani.
- choose install zip from sd and choose gapps-jb-20121212-signed-2.
- Reboot

This rom is for the GT-9010 but because there is no cm for oure armani i have used the cm rom for the captivate and modified it, the captivate and the armani have the same hardware specs. I am useing my rom on my GT-9010 too.

Would this work on the captivate like andromeda does?

I cant try it on a captivate because i dont have one. But i think it should be working, i want to try to make the rom even more spec for the armani

Problem Armani no phone
Hello.
I have a Giorgio Armani and my phone modem is not working.

After several tries to install a custom ROM due to lag problems, I installed yesterday a i897 stock GB ROM.
Everything is working except phone modem, I can call somebody but I cant hear anything.
Can you please help me to get back my phone modem and also to install 4.2.1 for Giorgio Armani without any lag ?

If you can flash it back to stock and then my rom. I have the armani modem implanted in the cm rom.
If you use the steps en download just like i have writed in the op every thing sould be fine.
I dont have the pit and phone (modem) file at home i have it at my work sorry i will upload it monday.

What is this file doing.
When I got back from ATT to European Armani ROM, I only flashed big md5 image to PDA and modem file to PHONE, no pit file and it worked.
What is this .pit file supposed to do?
I compared the updater.script from the zip file containing the modified CM with the modifications that are supposed to be done as written in this topic:

and they don't seem to be the same. Your file contains so I897 that is not replaced to I9010, is this ok?

[Q] JellyBlast 3 F***ed up my Galaxy Pocket heelp

I recently installed the JellyBlast v3 with 3.0.4 patch to my Samsung Galaxy Pocket, everything works fine except for some.
1. Device can't detect SD card
2. Bright white screen appears once the Power Button is pressed
3. Can't connect device to PC
4. Help me pls

Just flash stock rom via odin

Am I not actualized or Jelly Blast is supossed to work too in the SG Pocket?
From my knowlegde this ROM is for SAMSUNG Galaxy Young GT-5360 ONLY.
I think that you have to restore it using your nandroid backup via cmw or flash stock rom using odin. Search for the phone that you're using man.

First of all, before flashing anything, you should make a backup. If you dont have a nandroid backup, go and search for stock roms and odin for your galaxy pocket (be specific with your phone model).

Uh huh, the same as mine when I tried to flash GalaxyY's ROM-JellyBlast with my GalaxyPocket (Mehehe I know that this ROM is not meant for Gpocket, just experimenting) so the results are the same as yours, can't detect SD card and memory card, white screen appears if the device put off and USB storage is not accessible. So, what flashable kernel or ROMs you have in your SD card storage? if you have the vM00 kernels, try to flash some of that then flash a ROM THAT IS compatible with Gpocket. If not, flash your STOCK ROM by using Download mode and download the required files. Search the thread where GT-S5300 stock roms exist

-I forgot, next time DO NOT FLASH ANY ROMs or KERNELs that is not for your device! or else it will totally softbrick your device or even worst (THE HARDBRICK STYLE)

i flashed my galaxy pocket with jellyblast v3 for pocket....succesfully but after i could not download from the play store to my fon it tells me could not install on storage or usb......can any body help me fix this problem????PLS

There is no such thing as the best rom - best rom comments also are against xda rules as you just get spam & arguments
