Why not download a stock image, copy the services.jar to your sdcard, and then copy it to internal memory with a terminal program? I doubt you're going to find a flashable zip with just what you need.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but is there a way using a CWM zip file to delete files? I'd like to rename or delete the shutdown sound ogg files as part of a zip file that I use for restoring missing apps. Any SUGGESTIONS?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.
I don't have a stock from, but what you can do is download a stock from like fresh and just extract the file out of it on your computer. Its a zip file.

I can't find it in there, i tried an odexed and deodexed ROM, all i need is for a rooted user to copy it and post it here.
I am trying to install stock calculator from orange froyo to CyanogenMod 7 Nightly but every time i try to install it I get:application not installed
how can i get it in the phone?
Dude you can't do it, there is no such way that you can do a normal install with a copied HTC apk from rom. As they are not intended to install like normal apk. Besides you have to copy it to system/app. And you can't do it straight. You should be rooted. Also there is a support file in the folder of original file( dnt remb its name) which is required for its working. You have to copy both of them in system/app.
Repeat the question in threads like" android app development or some thing related to apps or developments, to get a procedure based fast replay.

Cm7 i think comes with a calculator!!! Unpack zip on PC before install then in unzipped file goto system app and delete calculator then copy the apk your trying to install into same app folder then rezip all unzipped files making sure you don't include original zip package and make sure you have named it same as original too ending in (.zip) then flash as normal, should work if not then it must be the apk is at error.

Firstly you have to install update.zip extract it from the rar/zip you have download and copy that file in the root of your sd card.
Also check if you have download the file properly and there are no spaces in between the name of the file.
And lastly try using a 2+ recovery.

How do I create a zip that can be installed through CWM?
Sent from my U8800 using xda app-developers app
Try App2zip https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=scd.app2zip
Well I didn't meant apps. Imagine to add some tweaks or files to a specific directory. If you open zips that can be flashed through CWM you can see that there is a group of folders that actually tells where the files will be installed

You can download some package for this phone for flash and delete all in /system than you can copy what do you want to flash to /system. Than compresse to .zip
Happy flashing!
